When I was in elementary level, people's always told me and scared that mathematics was too difficult, because of problem solving as well as playing with numbers.. but, when I experienced to study it until my high school, i guess it is not. It is just a perception to those people who didn't want to study more and to think logically as well. they don't think very critical to solve and to have solutions... and when my high school days.. Science was too hard, my classmate told me.. but, I didn't think it was too hard enough, because if your were study it well, you can have an answers to those questions... just study more and learn a lot of knowledge... But, In your own case, Did you experience to fear in Math or Science? WHich is the most difficult?

just keep studying you can make it... even though the genius people don't know what should do in the time of their problems... not just in math but in other things they encountered... just try to study hard.. u can make it in a better way...

I was never scared of any subject in my life. I loved maths and science and I have to say that they were my favorite apart from computers. I know that many kids and even teenagers say and think that some of these subjects are really very hard. Actually everything is hard until you give it a look and try to understand it. If you have a good teacher and a curious mind then nothing will be difficult. I was lucky on that part as I was and am very curious about learning new things.

same here... people are trying to inculcate themselves that math as well as other subjects are difficult... even though it is not difficult... fear in numbers are just simple to us if we try to mind that it is easy, and the best thing we can do, just study hard...

I'm fond of both math and science, so I can't say for myself. but as I see it, math seems to be the most difficult subject. to succeed, you need to either get it, or work very hard every day just to anticipate the questions.

yah... U have the point... u must be able to study hard to get the right point.... even though a genius can't be perfect, they also been able to study hard to get the perfect answer as well as the solutions to their problems.. the best example of it was the scientist and inventor, they made a lot of research so after all a lot of trials they found out the perfect answer of what they want to get...

I think math is. To me, most science comes from Math, so if I don't get math, then I won't get science.

science should systematical moves the all concepts of the world... science was the main vertex of all.. math came from science try to explain about physical science the concept of velocity, enertia, acceleration, concepts of gravitational pull and momentum and friction and etc. was more on solving with numbers. that this solving with numbers concept was in mathematics... so, how can you explain that science was came from math? as in my own way of defying math.. math was came from science, not science came from math... there is no such things in science that belongs to math.. so, math came from science....

untill high school the maths and science were prettyu easy for me, i did not experience any difficulties.....in engineering i had 5 maths papers, first three maths papers were really easy ...but fourth maths paper its called as Random process, it was quite difficult for me, because i dont concentrate much on Probability in my school days, in coll too i did the same, i faced the most difficulty in the Random Process paper..any how i cleared the paper with a high preparation..later the 5th maths paper was numerical methods, its a very easy paper, only formula application... i solved the paper very easily... coming to science, no explanations, i have to read science, i am an electronics and communication engineering student...science is my favourite subject.. happy to respond.. happy mylotting..

in your case, there are people who are totally gifted in these fields (science or math)...it was so easy if we will have a time to study and concentrate to our studies.. that's the best thing we can do..

for me the most difficult was math.I love science.I love studying about the human body, living things like plants and animals, and the solar system.I always have fantastic grades in science.I don't like math.I hate playing with numbers.

Math was a favorite subject. I was not interested in science. In college, the chemistry teacher wanted to sleep with me. I threatened to expose him and I never went to class. He was a real sleazeball. I got an A anyway. LOL. In high school I hated biology because I could not stand to dissect the frog. UGH!

Hi ruiz_richard22! I found Math more challenging than Science. It was not that hard. I just consider it challenging. Though I have encountered a lot of people who are afraid of Math, and that I found it challenging, I was never afraid of it.

I knew I had no desire to go to university, so I didn't have to take the math and science courses necessary to get there. So, the math and science i took were very general and were about the same for me in regards to difficulty.

Personally, I welcome the challenge brought to us by math and science subjects. Math will teach us how to add, subtract, divide, and multiply which is basic in our life. Besides that are for people who want to belong to the top echelon of mathematical society. For me, basic math is enough and is useful to our daily life. Science is applicable as we do the things in life.

It was so long ago I really don't remember! When I was a small child I liked both but eventually things changed, partially do to teachers, unfortunately.

I love Math and Science, but I think both of them don't love me :( Haha! Anyways, I find myself quite behind Math now. The truth is, I failed Trigonometry when I was in first year. I am in my second year in college right now, and I think my failure has an impact on me. I hated Trigonometry and my prof, but I don't think I hate Algebra and other Maths in that case. Haha. And about Science, I would say I wouldn't hate it because I just don't think I can hate it, no matter what. Haha. Take care! :)

this is completely depends upon person who is trying to learn those subjects.because mathematics need analytical thoughts and spontaneous and should be sharp.coming to science it is an physical subject this we can learn somewhat by ourselves.this subject needs imaginary thoughts and willing to complex mathematical problems.then this subject becomes easy.so many are scare about these subjects but in my view we can make these subjects very by develop ourselves up to the range what i said previously.but these two subjects need much practice.without practice we can't achieve good result from these subjects.among these two subject mathematics is very very important because without mathematics science is not there.because science is full of proofs. these proofs must need of derivations.these derivations are depends upon mathematical relations.that's why we can't go away from mathematics and also from science because science is very important for our life.coming to this science it has so many fields.these are related to health and technology etc...without science we can't anything because everywhere science is there.for example television it need power to on and it satellites to get the required channel from corresponding channel authority similarly so many technologies.this is my opinion on this discussion.

I think it all depends on the person and their interest in the subject. Personally, I struggled in science. Math I loved and did real well in it.

Hi Ruiz, I certainly enjoyed Maths - once you understand the logic and formulas, it was rather easy! Science - depends on which subject. If it was Chemistry or Physics, it was okay. But Biology - I hated it with a passion; there was so much to memorise and I could never remember things that I was not interested in!

hello ruiz, Not just difficult but it was the most hated subject that i ever had. that subject was math. it was hell hard since high-school, but some how there was a linked between me and algebra back in college that i was able to understand it and became good with it. but that was just the freshman years, the succeeding times it didn't do me well but the grades weren't bad either.

I didn't fear either, and enjoyed and excelled at both. But math was more difficult. Science was always intriguing, like seeing something new. Math got to be a lot of work.

From most subject that i learn in school, actually science and math is my favorite, so i don't really found them difficult. But if it is between the two, science is actually more complicated since it is not contain only formula, but also many theories.

neither of them is difficult its far more easier than anyother subject but you should have a lots of practise
