I think I'm addicted to facebook

Yeah, that's all I ever want to do these days when I go online. It seems that I forget everything else. I haven't visited mylot for quite a while, I haven't even started on my research for school yet. Oh my... Is there anyone else here who's addicted to facebook as well? The games there are so fun, aren't they? I play farmville, yoville, cafe world, mafia wars, and glamour age. hehe. If you're not addicted to facebook, then what is it you're addicted to right now? Do share. And if there's any way to get out of this addiction, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello swirlz, I am hooked with facebook applications right now. I have less time now for my online earnings because I do facebook when I have spare time instead of doing my online work. what I play are cafe world, fish world, farm ville, animal ranch and top restaurant. just a few.

Haha. That's a lot. I haven't tried fish world, animal ranch and top restaurant. That's the difference between cafe and restaurant? I have been getting invitations to play restaurant city but I'm afraid it's already too much. Animal ranch and farming, is there a difference too? Thanks for responding to this discussion. Atleast you still have time to come here in mylot.

I have restaurant city also but I prefer cafe world. It is more interactive. Yeah, I decided to post because, I am still waiting for some of my fish and animals to grow and some dish to be cooked . Oh maybe you can add me to your facebook account so I can invite you to play animal ranch. hehehe

I am not a big fan of facebook. I don't spend time in those sites. But I have to say that I am addicted to mylot a lot more than any other site. In mylot we can share in every topic there can be and thats what makes it more interesting and its also a lot safer than facebook. I recently heard from a friend of mine that his facebook account was hacked by someone. Mylot according to me is a lot safe.

Facebook is not so widely used in China. So I have no chance to be addicted to it. However, there is other things that attract me so much. For example, a role play net game. I used to spend about 4 hours a day on it. But now not. Because I know it is very bad to play games for a long time. I am not sure whether I will be addicted to Facebook when I get in touch with it.

I know I'm addicted to Facebook - ha ha. I don't go there for the games too much (the only application I do there is SuperPoke Pets, which really isn't a game), but I have many friends who seem to be into them. I like going there to see what's up with family and friends . . . and hopefully they are interested in my happenings too. I'm not on the phone much, so Facebook literally takes place of the phone for me - and I could reach more people at the same time. Admittedly, I have been coming to myLot alot lately too. If I'm done with Facebook, I most likely come here . . . and visa versa. How to get out of these addictions? Go find something else to get addicted to - hee hee!

Yeah, I'm beginning to think that's the only solution. But that means we have no reprieve from addictions at all!

What is a facebook? :D Ok, I'm just kidding. I don't use facebook or myspace. Because I think those websites are totally pointless. Maybe I'm wrong... but I know I'm right :P

Well, I used to have a myspace account and end up deciding it is pointless. But facebook is different. Maybe because of the games? I know, online gaming is pointless as well, because I have experienced it too with ragnarok before. A waste of time and money. But I do feel that facebook is the only chance I have to keep in touch and interact with my friends because everyone is so busy now with their career and families, we really have no time to meet. So that's the point of facebook to me. Anyway, I'm not encouraging you to be a facebook addict like me. I'm glad you have more purpose to life than just going online, unlike me.

I'm using my real name, why? I love playing farmville. But sometimes it lags like crazy, and I just hate having to harvest over and over again. What other games do you play?

the most important reason for the addictiveness might be the friends or the games. I am not addicted to fb right now instead I like orkut more than fb. About my addictiveness I am addicted to TV only. I am always attracted to it and cannot control myself.

Yeah, for me it's the interaction with friends. I don't know what orkut is. It's not popular here in our place. Being addicted to TV is another thing. I used to stay up all night watching TV (because I have one in my bedroom). I've cured it by started reading a series. After one book, I just have to read the other one. You should try that too. Or whatever else interest you have. Unfortunately though, I still stay up all night, from reading.

I am also addicted to facebook, I can't stop playing bubble spinner. My husband has scored about 1000 points more than me on this game so I am trying to get the top score. I log into mindjolt games and try to get the weeks top score in all the games my friends have played. I don't know how to get rid of the addiction, maybe we could invent a FB patch with slow release technology?
