To get paid no, but in order to transfer to your bank account, you do have to have a verified account number, otherwise, the money will just sit there in paypal and you can't get to it, as you wouldn't have a verified account. It isn't hard to do, as when you sign up with paypal, they will ask for your information and will check to make sure it is a legitimate account, in order to be veirfied. I hope that this has helped.
