I wear daily disposable contact lenses. They are comfortable to wear and are much better than the clean every night ones that last two weeks or one month. I do have a pair of glasses which I wear for around half an hour a day and in the night when I get up. With contact lenses I have normal eyesight it seems to feel. They are expensive to buy and glasses are cheaper.

I definitely prefer my contacts to my glasses. There's just a feeling of being free when I have time on. You also don't have to worry about your lenses getting fogged up on cold days when you come inside.
I still wear my glasses, but I wear my lenses a majority of the time.

I don't wear either. But I think if you can get used to wearing contact lenses they are probably better. Sure glasses are easier, but you have to worry less about contacts and contacts can't get broken like glasses, and many people look better with contact lenses, some don't though. If you get them just allow yourself a couple of weeks to get used to them with out judging them. My son is trying to get used to them now. My daughter started wearing them last year and the first week or so was hard, but now she can get them in and out in minutes and they are comfortable to her.

Both have advantages and disadvantages. Appearance for once, I will choose contacts. It shows your beautiful eyes unlike glasses, people can't really see the beauty of one's eye behind those. And contacts are handy and can even have different colors. The one thing I don't like about it is that I am afraid of is infection. Extra care is given when using contacts. Clean hands and environment before putting it. And you have to make sure it is always clean.

I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and I will never go back to glasses. It's not about appearance either because glasses have, in recent years, become quite the fashion statement. Contact lenses are really not high maintenance, especially if you go with disposable lenses. You only wear them for 2 weeks and then throw them away. They are easy to maintain and I have only ever had an eye infection when I slept with my contacts for a month (silly silly girl)!
Obviously you have to get used to putting the lenses in your eyes and that can be a pain-staking task but once you've mastered it, you're on your way.
FYI - your eyes don't water (or may but only slightly) when chopping onions if you wear contacts.
I definitely prefer contact to glasses!

i have glasses and prefer them to contacts. it seems to me that contacts require a lot of fuss and my sister in law once put the wrong lenses in the wrong eyes and felt sick for days until she realized her mistake. with glasses, i can just put them on and go. i view them as jewellry for my face!
