what is it that makes guitars sound so amazing

i wish i knew what it was that made a guitar sound so good because no matter how good you are you cant make it sound like you want it to i just recently pawned my electric guitar that i had played for over a year know what is that makes it so good. i have heard of pedals and whammy bars just dont have the money for them.

it's all the game of resonance and sound wave generated by the pull and release of the strings.. the way the strings are pulled they come up with with a different wave and frequency and that generates the peculiar type of sound.

i have played guitar for 4 years now..for acoustic maybe you can considered the wood material for the acoustic.. if it was electric maybe you can considered the pickup of the electric guitar itself and you also might check some distortion box..like me i have a multieffect box ME-20..distortion like fatt fuzz plus it with chorus box and some nice delay..it will make the sounds of the guitar sound good..do some experiment with the gear that you have, it will pays you off..like eddie van halen quote..im a tone chaser.. so find the tone and sound for your guitar..dont quit yourself..
