I can't believe that NBA is changing the rule for travel.
It's so bad that the player can't play better in the correct way so the rule is changed to make them to score easier.
I can't imagine how many points can MJ,Pippen,Barkley...... can score more than what they got.
I have to say the players now a days should pay more attention to improve their skills as what the old stars did.

This adjustment to the rules is not anything to do with the quality of players now. I don't believe this will affect the scoring much as if you look at the scoring you won't see many that would have been ruled out for travelling.

well. I think it will. As you can tell, now the players who like LBJ got a lot of points by run to the basket and the rules changed for defence had given them more free short on the line. That's why many of the old players said MJ is easy to get 40 points per game undet the current rules.
If they can use two steps rather than one before they do something, they can go even father. We all know you go faster without pat the ball.
Let's think about this. LBJ got the ball at the middle line and he runs for two steps and then pat once and then use his famous crab steps. He can finish it with only one time pat from the middle line!!!

They are just considering it. I am curious how they are going to convince the college and the international community into going along with it. What happen if they goes to the Olympic and they use a different set of officiating ? I hope NBA is not "Basketball"

it should always be remembered that it is the performance that counts. and it needs to be maintained too.

The players nowaday are just bigger bullies, they try to man-handle each other and then they cry to the ref.
