clearing out posts that are old

I've notices some of folks have thousands next to their name, while I am still lowly in the double digits. I check the mylot guidelines stuff before posting this and found lots of tidbit's on starting posts, but what happens if you just want to kill a post? I put a topic up for discussion like a week ago and no one responded to it. Then there was the goof where I posted the same discussion nowhere five times... so all of these are in my 'started' pages, is there any way to clear those?

These are two different problems. If a discussion receives no responses immediately do not despair. When you have a few friends they will go to your profile and might find it and respond on it and clear it for you. Once it receives a response it will appear in the similar topics on the right, depending on the tags that it has and could receive even more responses. The other problem which probablly happened during the glitch can be dealt with by admin. I will go and fish them out for you and the duplicates will be removed.

When they have been removed let us know and I will go and respond on the one that is left

thank you. I just hate having things open like that. OCD of me I know. I did contact MyLot Admin about the glitch posting, they are looking into it.

I am new here too, and my friend who invited me to join had explained to me about all of this. I guess we can not erase or delete discussion that has no response. Since we are both new we can be friends and suppor each others discussion. I am quite scared too to start a discussion and get embarrased if it wont get a response. I just started two discussion and so far there are a few response. not a lot but atleast there are response.

thank you. there's no telling really what will get responded to and what won't. I just post stuff of interest to me and hope someone else will take an interest too. Beware though sometimes my daughter get's on, she's the author of the vampire discussions.

The only way that you can get a discussion cleared out of your profile, is either for someone to Report it to where myLot deletes it, or to send a personal message to have myLot remove them. But personally at least not yet, there is NO way to kill or delete a discussion or even end one, so you just need to learn to continue to have Fun, meet New people and in time you will see many Good things happen for sure. Wishing you the Best.
