I swam naked among the clouds
. . .and drowned.
Now all you see is a shadow,
. . .of what I had been,
More ethereal,
More of Lazarus kin.
Whose Dreams fullfill,
. . .my vision sense.
Embracing the movements of a carp,
and it's regal grace,
As if comparing,
My ignoble leaps and clumsy bounds,
Reaching heights and then again,
Return to my watery grave.
Never-ending,
Unceasing,
Unknowing my Princely state,
'til your kiss awaken me at Heaven's Gate.
