Christmas Gift Ideas, Anyone?

This christmas, I am thinking of giving something useful but personalized and very affordable. For all my friends, I will give them a 50-page planner/notebook (made of bound specialty paper) and covered with yellow fabric with name on top. The cover will be sewn by a nearby tailor that I know will do it in very affordable price. For my parents and parents in-law, I am choosing between "on sale" venetian blinds in ace hardware or a curtain made of gold fabric that I saw in the fabric warehouse. For the kids, I am making lootbags with goodies and an average-priced toy. I am considering tie dyed shirts as giveaways too. Depending on the time I may still have and the availability of materials, these are my ideas for christmas gifts.

This year I am making gift baskets for husband's family. I also bought ceramic ornaments that I will be painting later on this month. I am not sure if I will be getting anything for my husband. I do not have any money because I am not working and my husband only works part-time.

Most of my family enjoys reading, so I give a lot of books. I look for them all year long so there aren't so many to buy at Christmas time. This year, I think I will give my daughter in law a Venus fly trap. I thought about it last year but couldn't find one close to Christmas, so I need to get one right away and keep it until then.

Those things sound nice. I don't know. I haven't been able to afford anything for Christmas the last several years so I'm not that up on things.

at the moment i have no list yet for christmas gift giving but maybe what i would give my friends a custom-made fashion jewelry made by me. this is anyway my hobby eversince so i would like them also to have this time for free and they can even choose the design.goasshhh then it would be a super work for me,,but its ok its christmas anyway..right?

yes the best gift for x mas is x mas cake because we can eat it together and enjoy x mas eve with soft drink too, i usually celebrate x mas with cake, in my family we do not give money to family, for children too, we must give them good gift such books, and school equipment =)
