Why my level is so low! Please help me!

I could have been happy today because I just finish my hundredth post so as to get a rank. But I'm very disappointed with the result, how come I just get the level 4? I'm an active member here and I can guarantee the quality of my comments. So I just want to ask if it's a common phenomenon and what level did you get when your articles are up to 100? Is it relevant to the numbers of my friends? Help me, thanks a lot.

I have earned $2.65 already, but most of them are raised by finishing tasks. This includes a task writing an article about a video game and I earned 50cent at that time. I also tried the $4 task, anyway, it's very difficult to write on the subject provided, I failed at last though I spend almost two hours in writing the article. We are just newbies here, I believe there are lots of other ways to raise money, we can exchange frequently.
