Honestly, at this very early hour of the day (for me, but not for most), I can only conjure up one for you.... "The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter." -Winston Churchill But if you love quotes, I'm sure that one's not new to you.

Prior to the 2008 presidential election, Howard Stern sent one of his cronies to Harlem to ask people who they were voting for, and whether or not they agreed with many of Obama's policies. The catch was, none of Obama's polices were actually cited. Instead, the reporter noted all of MCCAIN'S policies, but attributed them to Obama. So the discussion would go like this: "Who are you voting for?" "I'm voting for Obama." "And you agree with his stance on Iraq, that we should stay there until the job is done?" "Absolutely." "And what about his stance on abortion? Do you agree with him that abortion should be illegal under all circumstances?" "Yes, I do," went the reply. One person was even asked if they thought Obama made the right decision in picking Sarah Palin as his running mate, and the person said yes, they had no problem with Palin. The average voter is uninformed, addicted to American Idol, only cares about how well a politician can make speeches or how well he's groomed. I forget the ungodly percentage of people in the US who can't find Canada on a map, and yet we trust them to elect our officials? And then we wonder why our nation is in such a mess? I know you asked for a simple answer but sometimes a little bit of description is needed. Believe me, I could go on and on, but I've bored you enough. Suffice it to say the average American is politically illiterate, and speaking to most of them for --- well --- just five minutes will make that all too clear.

Very nice bro. let me share with you one of my favorite. "Over the years your bodies become walking autobiographies, telling friends and strangers alike of the minor and major stresses of your lives."

I'll tell you one that I really like since I was a child. It goes... love in your heart wasn't put there to stay, love isn't love till you give it away.
