Your Second Opinion

Fairy Figurine - This particular drawing would have gone to a ceramic factory. The final product was intended to be porcelain. It was my job back then to design and create the final artwork for the sculptors to follow.

The image of course would be adjusted to fit in to a blog. A background will be added and other details which were not done due to considerations in its fabrication. More details equals more money to do and hence a figurine that will come out expensive. Si

I drew this fairy as one of the subjects for a figurine. The final drawing would have been submitted to a manufacturer for their sculptors to recreate. However, this particular submission was rejected. I am now working on a project to post drawings and poetry on a blog. So I am gathering things I haven't used and reviewing their worth. If you would be so kind as to give a second opinion on some of my drawings, it would be a big help in deciding which should be finalized and which should be discarded. There will be more to come. Because it would also give me a sense of how my work is rated when it is scrutinized by a larger number of people. I understand there is quite a number of myLotters who are also Bloggers. Hope you can throw me a line or two. Many thanks.

Wow! I love the work you put into your drawing! I think it's fine with me, I don't see why they would reject it. Unless it could be the manufacturer. But to me, it's great! If that's the actual size of your drawing perhaps, make it larger?

Thank you! I do intend to make it larger when it is finalized. The plan is to morph it into a digital painting somehow. The way it is drawn now is just to fit an 8"x11" size paper, low resolution. Larger like 11"x16" with more details. Many thanks, what you said is encouraging.
