Yes I do usually check the nutritional info on the packet of most foods that I buy. It's like you said - it is important to be aware of what you eat. I most often check how many calories something contains in addition to fat and sugar contents of the food.

When I was trying to lose weight, I do browse the nutrition information of foods that I buy. I was very particular about the calorie count and how much sugar and fats are present in the food but now I don't really care anymore because life is too short to calorie count. lol. I say, eat, drink and be merry. lol. :)

I don't refer to nutrition information all that often. I tend to buy fresh veggies and fruits and meat from my local butcher. I really try to stear clear of prepackaged goods and pay attention to high fructose corn syrup. I like to be healthy but I don't like to get crazy about it. I know the fresh foods are pretty good for me and I try to make my own products out of the freshest ingrediants. I have always been amazed at the amount of crap for sale on the market and have learned over the years to mainly shop the paremeters of a store, that way I avoid all the junk in the middle.

no, i generally dont cater this. i, mostly prefer the test, presentation and smell. my requirement is that the food has to be hot, too spicy. my wife is very keen about the nutrition. (thereby i enjoy the balance in my home, ha ha ..)
