Sleep, sleeping

I have been sleeping for 5 hours (from 1AM-6AM). On this past weekend, I got so much assignments and other school stuff to do. As I was doing the work, I drifted to midnight, then it was 1AM, which is my bedtime... Surprisingly, I was not sleepy by that time but I have not taken any stimulant or drank coffee. I ignored it and resumed with my work. Then it was 1:40AM and I felt sleepier by the minute, and by 2AM, i was so tired that I could hardly concentrate! The work was not done, but I went to sleep anyway. 4 hours later, I woke up so energized, alert, motivated and full of life! I felt better than when I slept for 5 hours! Lately, I do well with 4 hours of sleep, but my problem is, how can I get my body to get used to this 4 hours of sleep quicker so that this will be my regular sleep pattern?

Eventually the body will get used to whatever you put it up against, but eventually the body will pay for it in someway.
I don't know if sleeping just 5 hours is good for anybody, specially if you are a student.
Maybe is because you're young and full of energy but once you finish your studies you may get better slepping patterns.
