yes, feelings can be expressed in singing.
My friend sings but, i can't feel it..O_O
Some say, you should feel and understand the message of the song, true right?
but some say that one should love and be heartbroken...
is there any other way to sing with feelings?

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. my wife is a professional singer, and i am a bassist in a band. i can say that if you understand the song very well then i can say that you can deliver it with feelings. if you are in the right tune and you can sing it with passion then that is okay. you dont have to be brokenhearted just to render a song beautifully. you just have to feel the song and to understand what was the song all about. there are a lot of children ages 8 and below who are good singers and they havent had their heart broken yet but can render a song beautifully.

Hmmm... For me you can really sing a particular song with full feelings if you have the same experience as what the song is saying. If the song is about a broken heart and it happen that the singer had also a broken heart then I think it will be perfect. The singer can really internalize the meaning of the song and can sing it with full feelings.
