I will sometimes sweep the kitchen and hallway. Most of the time I vacuum since I do have rugs in the bedrooms and living room. Its easier to get it all done vacuuming the house in one shot.

I hoover everywhere in my house no matter what type of flooring it is, I personally feel its cleaner for me to do it this way. When using a broom/Brush i always end up missing bits and it takes me ages to get it right, with a hoover its done in a flash.

I have to sweep my floors because I dont have a hoover and I think even if I had a hoover there are soem places that I would still sweep.I would hoover places that have a high degree of dusting and are in constant use like the living or dining room because they would be very tiring to sweep but like a bedroom I would probably dust but then I am likely to do it better than a hoover .In addition I would aslo hoover the larger rooms for the same purpose, size
