I believe that money can be root to evil if you use it in an evil way. Way can sustain to our living why we are still here. Money should be use in a good way to help ourselves,family and other people it you have enough for it.

there are two basic reasons for any problems... one is money and the other is female.. so that has been a story since ages.. just a samll example.. things have been fought for motherland and motherland is a female..

Money becomes evil when a rich person who already have a lot of money becomes greedy and instead of being the master of money..the money becomes his boss thus the act itself of keeping too much lead to wickedness. Having lots of money is a provides a good resources where one could uses money to help or at least lighten the sorrow of unfortunate people if uses in proper ways..money even becomes a savior..

Hi,friend. Well, its the human nature to find problems in things around them rather than looking at the actual root. We find reasons of evil in money(a non-living entity, what can it do then?), in feminine gender (something we all originate from), in the situations etc. But, these are all entities that form the platform for the evil. But, it is the human MIND that forms the source of evil, i.e. the rot cause of all evil lies in the greedy, arrogant, lustful, bla-bla-bla... human MIND. What we need is refine our thoughts and all other factors will be eliminated automatically. Happy Mylotting!!

I disagree, money is just a tool that make our lives easier, it's greed that's evil, if a person in not greedy then there's no need to acquire that much money. Cheers!

I have a saying that I often use. Money is Power and Power is Everything. Sometimes it is not even the love of money itself, but the power and freedom that it provides. Let's face it, with power you can run corporations, run for political office and influence the people around you. You can afford the opportunity to live a comfortable and worry-free life. Unfortunately, greed can get in the way and when that happens, you build your fortune and power at the expense of others. That is when the quest for money and power becomes evil. When someone earns their wealth honestly because of intelligence and hard work, I admire them. When they earn their wealth by hurting other people, then that becomes greed and is not admirable. There are many billionaires in our country right now who could open up businesses which would put some of the unemployed to work. Our unemployment is devastating right now. Not only would it put people to work, increase the tax base again and ultimately it would make the billionaire even richer. Instead, many of them are just sitting and counting their money.

As the Holy Scripture states, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people eager for money, have wondered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."(1Timothy6:10NV)

This is a good discussion,and I am sure that everyone loves money,and that different people have different opinions when it comes to money,and evil and whether money is the root of all evil or not,and I like money but I know money does not buy happiness because money can not buy the important things like friendship and love,and I personally think that money is the root of all evil,because people get money,and then they get greedy and want more money,which basically corrupts them and then they are never the same,just look at big businesses and you will see what I mean,have a great day,good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

Yes I agree money is the cause of evil because of it many are now greedy. They don't mind if they get there money in bad ways as long as they going to be rich they going to grab the opportunities. Now a days because all of us needs money many crimes now are happening. We can't survive if we don't have money in this world today.

I think that it is not money itself that causes problems, but the greed of human beings that always want more than what they have. And are willing to take it from other human beings. So money is not the only cause of evil but surely a fair share of it can be blamed on greed.

Money in itself if not the root of evil. It is the people who want the money that are evil and will do anything to get it. We need money to survive and buy things and some people just think that they have to have everything that money can buy to be happy which is not true. Society is divide into the people who have lots of money and want more and then people who may have just enough to get buy sometimes.

it was says that if you loved money.the love of God is not in you.However,evil doers are rejected in Gods judgement.like, immorality, idolatry it does not involve money,but feeling and emotion.we all know weakedness is unrightious to the eyes of Got and yet people keep on doing these.

I do not believe that money is the root of all evil. Money is necessary in our society so that there is a way for items to be acqired more easily. The world would not be where it is today if we were still working on the bartering system. While money does cause temptation, it is people who allow that temptation to manifest into something evil. People use money as a scapegoat for why they do the wrong things, however money is an inanimate object and cannot actively make people do wrong. I'm not suggesting that any person is truly evil, however evil acts and thoughts manifest from within. If money caused all of our troubles, all governments would outlaw money if it would stop all crimes.

Of course not, that's just being extremist and whomever claims that's true is because they feel envy of people who has money. But, if you feel happy with yourself and let everybody do whatever they want to and stop pointing fingers, that day you'll know that money is not evil, it's just an instrument, it comes and goes, it's out there for everybody to use in the way they know. Bad thing is that people who don't know how to use it are the ones who complain first.
