hello lotters,
After a careful and very serious analysis, i have officially decided to join Farm Ville..2 nights ago. yeah, it was a terrible mess at first, plowing almost every place i could find that almost turned into a zigzag road. hten buy here and there some seeds and fruits.
then...(*horse sounds*) darn! scared the Sh*t outta me, it's two in the morning here again turning three . well, my brother and sis-in-law gave me a horse and elephant. i dunno what to do with them. i have lamb ,tamara and dk in my list too, but the lamb kept biting people in the vampire wars , including (*elephant sound*) Ahhhhhh, quiet! ME........
Any one on farm ville, i hope you can add me there. am not sure about other games, farm ville is as close as sim city.
The Problem now is that the game doesn't seem to stop even if i log out. if i come back later this morning..(*horse sounds*)Ahhh!!..if i come back later, i might see my plants and fruits dry and dead
Have a great day lotters

Lol, you sound like you really enjoy Farmville. It's a great game, though I don't play anymore. I used to play quite A LOT actually. Now I play Restaurant City and Cafe World on facebook. They're also really great games.
By the way, I don't remember there being any elephants in Farmville. Did they just add them?

Haha yep. If you try Restaurant City, you'll be addicted to two games! And that's not good. So, I think you should just stay with the Farmville. ;)

I used to be a farmtown addict but I also tried playing farmville. I have also noticed that most people I know in facebook (even in real life) is simply addicted to that game.
I'm sorry about your bad experience. I guess you weren't oriented about the game. When you buy seeds from the shop, you will notice that there is an indication on how many days or hours before it will ripen. These days and hours is also the same as the real life days/hours. And at the same time, it will also take them the same days/hours before it will rotten RIGHT AFTER it ripens.
For example, if you plant a seed that would grow in two days. After that two days, go online and you will see your plants are ready to harvest. But if you are not able to harvest them at exactly two days, it will still take them another two days before it will rot. So, if you can't get online much, I would suggest planting seeds that would grow for a few days. But you also have to take into account on the profit you can earn.

hello rhan04,
that's okay, i really started slow and decided to arrange my farm but not as equally in order with other crops. they are all in random when ever i plant them. for now, i have been able to stabilize the earnings and crops needed to harvest. and yes i was able to check the days before it was harvest, it was good because i get to plant those that needs 12 hours or 3 days for harvest, am doing good.

welcome to farmville, me also i really love farmville i just started 1 mos. ago, its very enjoyable this game to facebook. The game will continue so you need to choose the plants or seeds that will stay longer, some seeds they have time and ready to harvest so that when you came back, its ready to harvest. For me what i do, when i got to work i choose the seeds that can be harvest for 3 days or 4 days so i can left my farm without drying it.And for the animals some of them they will send you a gift, so you need have lots of friends to add, so that you have lots of gifts. Why dont you also try the cafe world? its also very nice.Well you need to learn to be a farmer?

hello jemaries,
thanks a lot for your welcoming me there, it is enjoyable, after waiting for quite sometime, for crops to grow and harvest that's when i realized it was truly fun and entertainment. animals are cool as well, i thought they were just displays, but you can also get something from them too. for now, i bought three different kinds of trees, i hope i could get a bigger amount on trees.

hello tarson,
thanks and it's nice of you to invite me. you know the only problem there is how to earn money, because i always end up earning coins and not the money. it won't belong before I've expanded my farm. probably some day am gonna re-arrange it but for now, i needed them to grow so that i can manage to have a good looking farm.

hello, solared,
you know, with regards to that, when ever i harvest some crops, i would purchase some seeds or fruits that will take two to three days to grow so that i won't have to take my time visiting there. if my calculations are correct, i may have to harvest tomorrow and tuesday

I like Farmville much better than Farmtown. The crops do keep growing and unfortunately sometimes dying even when your logged off though. I have my sound off when I play that game as I usually play it when my son is sleeping and I use his desktop computer! LOL

I have no problem with my farm in Farmville. I keep my farm with plenty of trees so that if ever I forget to harvest, I still have crops. With my previous inetrnet disruption this happened but my trees still have fruit.

hello anne, me too. well, for now i have only three different trees to harvest, it's still too expensive and i have more farms than trees. wow, you must have lost a lot of farms there, what's the difference between farm ville and farm town? are these two separate games?

Yes, FarmVille and FarmTown are two separate games, but have the same idea which is to grow crops. FarmVille is much more user friendly in terms of harvesting, plowing and planting. FarmTown on the other hand will ask you to go to the market once you harvest your crops. Try them both out, it might interest you.

Well, It happened with me when I first joined up. I like this game, also everything you sow has a time of harvesting and need to be harvested right on time, specially the crops that take less time. The ones that take more time are a lot less problematic, but still need to be harvested or they just dry up after a while. I have currently reached level 12.

O wow, and I thought I am the only one hooked up with Farmville. My husband is really irritated with me, being in front of the computer every hour, checking whether my crops are all ready for harvesting.
Yes, even if you logged out, the game is still going, because of the time span that goes with the game. growing your crops and your animals are in sync with real time. So if the seeds say ready in 1 day, you really have to go back to it after a day, otherwise your crops will die. No problem with the animals as they can not die.
Farmville is not the only game in FB that is insync with real time. There's, Farmtown, I love this better than farmville, because in farmtown you can hire other players to harvest your crops and plow your land. These tasks will make you earn more money and at the same time the other players can also earn money and gain experience as well.
All I can say is welcome to the club!

It's the rule of the game, you have to take note of your time when you plant, and how many hours the plant will grow so you would know when to pick them up. The lenght of time for the plant to grow is the same lenght of time that the plant will stay before it withers. So be careful of what you are planting. :-)

hello stephon,
am still new to this giving gifts in the farm ville, does it cost a lot or something? i don't think there's any cheat since it's an online game if we have a game in our computer maybe some one can actually discover a darn cheat, for now i just have to get used to it the normal way, am earning so it's okay.

hahahaha, i am laughing letran because i never dared try to join any farming business, be it farm town or farm ville. my children are actively playing that and almost all my cousins and acquaintances, too. i told my children, my time in the laptop is my time and don't give me a reason that u have to be prioritized because ur plants are dying or u want to harvest them now. hahahaha... honestly, i refrained from joining that game because i don't want to be "forced" into going home because the plants are dying. also, i am playing badminton after office hours and i will already be too tired to plow the field when i arrive home. continue enjoying farmville, letran

I love Farmville and I also play Farmtown, Island Paradise, My Zoo and Mafia Wars. I love it! I just have to time it so that I'm not bombarded with things all at the same time or it does get to be 3am before I know it!

I left Farmville too and I told my friends that I did not intend to play it anymore, but they seem to be either blind or stupid since even after a month I keep on getting gifts and invited and the like. It's frustrating.
I turned off the opetion to receive notices about what's happening in my farm, it'd have been cool If I could expand my lot without having to pay or invite a thousand people to join my friends list. Farmville was kind of a funny application, too bad it's based on money and I have no money to throw away on such stuff.
