Does our human inteligence or reason makes us so stupid sometimes??

You know, human being has a great mind, and can think almost everything but, does this makes us stupids?. For some decisions, we know too much that we spend too much time to think what is correct, and finally we choose an option, but it was wrong. Ithink that our great mind, sometimes, makes us great idiots. Sometimes we use it too much deciding, sometimes we don't use it (both ways we probably blow it XD) and sometimes we stumble with the very same rock 2 or many more times. Is beacouse we are imperfect, or we are too smart, or we're just trying to learn from our mistakes (that i think is the best and most common way to learn)?.
