Do ghosts really exist?

since we were kids,x we were told scary stories about ghosts, vampires and werewolves. No one knows whether they really do exist or not, still if one is walking in an empty street at night, he fear ghosts. bull but have you ever wondered whether they really exist or not? if they do, do you have any i proves to accept their existence? what does science have to so say about the existence of ghosts?

I believe many of persons believe the God really exist in our world, so I think if you believe in god, and you should also believe ghost really exist. every things have 2 sides, good and evil...if god represents god and the ghost should represents evil...thanks and happy mylotting

Hi, friend.
At ur response, i won`t say that i believe/don`t believe in ghosts personally. But, i would like to contradict the point that if one believes in god, then, he/she should believe in ghosts.
I myself believe in god, but not in ghosts. As you said, everything has two sides, good and evil... god represents good and ghosts represent evil. But, as i think, if one believes God (generally as the omnipotent one), then how can one believe that there can exist a thing(u call it ghost) that is powerful enough to withstand (or even form an entity) against the God-the most powerful. So, if there is a God(in the sense we generally believe), God will form the only entity with no 2nd side..evil.
If there is some less supernatural interpretation of God, my explanations won`t apply.

exist?... might be a strong definition. What do you understan under the word 'exist'? We exist!
I stongly believe there is a fourth dimension, where other 'spirits' live. Some might call it ghosts... others spirits... I am convinced as babies we are all born with the gift to feel and see them, but due to our education we loose that gift. Some might call it a third eye.
Some people are raised with the believe of their environment and have it easier to devellop the gift of third eye, others are laughed at and told it to be nonsence, due to which they close themselves for impressions given.
But I have encountered situations which were only explainable by the existing of spirits. And spirits are not only bad things, they might do good too.

Well, friend, there can be no correct answer to this question, coz, nobody can prove his/her point, at least in the present scenario.
Personally, i don`t believe in ghosts. I believe in god as the omnipotent and believe that there can be no evil side against god. I think being haunted is just another state of the human mind.

hi,
There is no proof for something that exist with us and in such category we can consider god and devil which symbolizes good and bad. I never felt the existence of both but i believe they may exist as lot of cases of seeing ghosts are reported by common people and some science is also there for knowing these things.
I only can say one thing that all these things are feelings as we havent see god but can feel him in the similar way may be ghoost is also a feeling which does not have physical existense. I dont know whether ghost which are cruel as see in movies exist or not but people who have ghost in them with cruel intension to destroy someone does exist and they are more dangerous than the Ghost.

I don’t have the answer but I have a strong feeling that there may be spirits around us. I have had an experience a long time ago when I saw something I could not explain but I don’t have proof. I have a feeling sometimes that there is someone around that I cannot see and, because I believe that people’s soul cannot just die, the idea of an afterlife is very feasible to me.

Ghost really exist but only those people who have third eye see them. I personally don't want to see them I'm bit scared to see one. Nov. 1 and 2 apporaching the stories of ghosts and there existence going to be the topic and everybody going to talk about their encounter.

I don't know about science and ghost but after seeing one I do believe in them. I saw one years ago downstairs in my basement. Plus after watching all these shows like Ghost Hunters and Celebrity Ghost Stories there is know way someone can convince me that there are no ghost. They are here and I believe they are all around us maybe in another dimension. They show themselves when they feel the need to.

I do believe in ghosts because i already saw them. At first i dont believe in them I just think that maybe they were just a bad elements from this world. But when i saw a lady wearing black gown but floating while going own stairs i realized that it is really a ghost because of its features and the environment became cold as she approaches me. It happened in my boarding house last summer, they said that boarding houe is haunted, there was a black lady staying there. That was my unforgettable experience also, since then I am able to saw white ghost and hear them whispering in my ear.

Hi mrnischalgurung,No! i don't really believe that ghost exist.For me It is just a superstitious belief from our olds.That is only one way of scaring the children.

Yes...i can say ghost exist which is the spirits....when someone die untimely they went to other place to live until l there time God give them complete.....people can invoke people spirit to trouble others...because..when once die it has no power of itself again.....that is why we say they exist...

It sound scared.
That actually when we talk about ghost.
Ghost is general.
But the first ancestor of ghost is Satan.
Every countries have different story of ghost.
But it not determine that ghost has that name.
Only call For know it.
I belief as my muslim member.
Trust that this creatures exist.
And do not scare with them.
There are the creatures like us.

I am open to the supernatural and paranormal phenomenon. If ghosts do exist they live in a different plane of existence and can not harm humans like the ghosts portrayed in modern literature. Some believers offer proof of their existence but I take all of them with a grain of salt. I don't think I even want a proof.

About the ghost ,I think there are exist .becasue I have met something ,but these things is not explain by the science .but about the vampires and wolves .I know they are writed in the bible .so if who have real see these .I odn't know but in here, I have not seen it ,and I only know this in the bilbe .and moives .so I don't think they are excited

I can't confirmed that ghost really exist and I believe it really does exist. I am afraid that I can see a ghost and I don't know how to react. I can't even stay longer time in the cemetery.

Yes I do believe they exist. Ghost or spirits are with us. In fact when I was just in grade school I saw a girl in white dress. As I approach her she immediately vanished. I don't know if she's a ghost or not but I really saw her. And I believe in God. If you believe in God then of course you can't say you don't believe in ghosts and devils. Happy ghost hunting to you. :)

I think there are ghosts, it's just that there are only a few who are sensitive enough to sense them. I did not see a ghost personally but I have friends who do, they call it a third eye. One of the things that convinced is that my friends who claimed a to have a third eye were able to describe the appearance of the same ghost and its location on separate occasions. It's funny at the same time creepy.

Well.. id say it depends on each one's 'belief'.. ulltimately they exist in the mind of the one who believes that ghosts do exist, and of course most such stories told during childhood have to o with the parents(or caretakers) wanting the child not to venture into something that might seem dangerous, like going out alone, especially if the area is known for criminal activities or violence..
Talk about spirits existing: I do believe in Spirits or what one may call as the 'Astral body'. One can also travel in the astral plane.. so I guess that's what is the whole thing about ghosts existing. Tuning our brainwave frequency to 5 Hz or so can help to astral project.
