What is the opposite of love? it's not hate is it?

The opposites of love could be not in love or do not care or maybe even hate...lol but, what about if when love and hate collide/mixed?? Lmao anyway, happy mylotting!

The opposite of love is indifference. If you don't love something, it mean you don't care too much for someone. you take him as stranger. He's a stranger you understand most.

hate. because if we will define the terms love and hate, they are opposite. love means, a strong tender affection or showing kindness to somebody, while hate in the contrary means, strong dislike or feeling of intense hostility. if you don't love the person but you don't hate him/her, then you are not affected in his/her existence or your feeling towards him/her is just neutral.

well the basic opposite of love is hate, because love is an act of expressing their emotion to another. but to those you don't think is called love but its not hate, have different terms to refer them with, starting with someone you don't know will be stranger, one you know a bit will be aquantance, to the term friends, close friends, best friends, to relative, to family, to lover, to partner, to someone you just dislike but not hate to those you hate and to enemies. each got a specific term. it only depends on how you label them.

I don't think that if you don't love someone it means you hate the person. It just that you don't feel something special and it's not love.
