Hi there mylotter, Manually writing to a friend indeed is rarely done today. We should be able to cultivate again to write letters to our friends. It will feel different impressions. How is it? It's not bad idea...Thanks...happy day

Wow! This is very timely. My dear friend that is like a sister to me lives in Texas. We used to write long, involved letters to one another. We haven't for several years now. Why, I am not sure because she isn't into the computer and doesn't even text. But we do stay in touch. That is the important thing.

Hello, Over the summer I was writting back and fourth to my friend, then after the summer I have noticed that we have gone back to sending emails to each other, for some reason it seems as though it is easier for us to stay in touch this way, besides getting to the post office and buying stamps, and sending them off in the mail is such a hassle when you are to busy, and these days thats exsactly what we are to busy, so we are both content with the email letters. Happy My Lotting!

Yes,I agree that sending a e-mail is a best way to spread best wishes. When I sometimes get a letter from my friends, I feel very excited. So I keeping on writing e-mails to my friends on festivals and any other time I miss them.It is really a pretty feeling.

I used to like writing letters to my friends when I was in school, I like the feeling of writing and also receiving letters. Later, when I started to use Internet in college, slowly I wrote emails to my friends instead of letters. Later on, we used messengers to communicate. Nowadays, I really seldom write any letters, even emails. Perhaps I really should write, like what you said, just take up the pen and write! ^_^

Yes, I still have to write letters to my friends because I feel it is more personal and real if I send my message through letter writing. But I never write my letters through hands but by typing in the computer because I want to write in style with different font, color and font size.

Letter writing is an old thing. Nobody writes letters to their friends. I always send emails to my friends. Now on internet we can send greetings like friendship day, birthday etc. Email is quick and fast. Letters requires 1 to 2 days to reach them.

I do both, write letters and email. I remember when I was planning my wedding over two years ago I would send emails to my family members to keep them posted on what was going on. I have an aunt who does not have the Internet access so I write her a long letter once a month. Every Christmas Season I send out a letter in the Christmas Cards letting everyone know how things are going and keep them informed. I feel writing a letter is more personal.

I totally agree with you. Although we exchange emails with my bestfriend, but still there are times that we exchange letters. Most especially on special occassions or at times that we feel we just want to share something. We do this since high school until now. So with writing letters, our distance doesn't seem to matter after we parted since graduation. :-) I'm glad this still exists even with the various technologies that arise these days to electronically send messages. Let's keep it up.
