Do you play music out loud in your working place?

Dear friend, I would keep a low volume and make sure it is not a disturbance to others in office. Moreover very rarely only I do get listen to music as there is lots of works here. But if we are having a party in office we do keep music in bit high volume. But while doing office work I hardly listen to any music.

Wow, it depends on what time and what enviroment. It is definately no doubt that I love the music. I love to play the music out loud when I am in relax status and in the daylight as I am concerned that the loud music sould will affect others if I played in the middlie of the night. I will wear the earnphone just avoiding the noise producted from my bedroom. On the other hand, I am freaking out if the neighbour played very loud when in the middlie of the night that I can not concentrate on my work. When I am posting the comment on mylot, I realized that I did not work with the music on as it will divert my concentration on the thinking. Once I listen to the music, I will put all my heart on it, the words I should remember, the melody that hangs around me. Happy mylotting.

i am in a band so we really play loud music at work. and of course they will request us to play music that they would love to hear. but at home i make sure i dont play loud music. i have a three year old son and i dont like to hurt his ears for doing that. so i have no choice i can not be silent at work but i love my serenity when i am at home.

It all depends on where you are working or what you do for a living. I like to listen to music softly. Loud music is very distractive in a work environment.I appreciate nice gentle piped music in my work place.

if the sound is too loud ,i couldn't heard other people talk clearly,i d like to have some music when i was working and i wish it's light music?

My boss is really bad. If I play muisc loud then I had it. But I use my earphones and play it loud

In my workplace, anyone can listen to music if they want to. It doesn't really matter if they play the music out loud, but then we all have different preferences of music that we like to listen to. So we usually just listen with earphones. For the other office staffs who do not have their own laptops, they just ask one user to play the music out loud so they can also listen.

I like to listen to music while working. Both my previous office and my current job has speakers all over the office and we play very soft music the whole day. Luckily even the bosses like listening to soft music the whole day so I do not have any problem putting on the music.

I play music in the office but not too loud because I'm not sure if others will like it so to be safe, i make sure that it's not too loud or soft. Music inspires me to do more and when you're in a lot of pressure, it soothes the nerves. I play it on speakers..

In my office, we can't play the music out loud. It's not allowed. And I don't like the nosiy atomsphere. When you speak to the client on the phone, the loud music will disturb the conversation.

I always turn on the speaker in my work place, to have a good mood, and have a happy neighbor hood, mos of my neighbor play also loud music, to think easy.

i've got a colleague who's just like you. he likes his music loud. it's fine with me since i too, am a music lover and we request songs from him too. unfortunately, our boss would rather have the office as silent as possible, hehe! that's why some of us just use earphones and some just not listen at music at all. but i'd love to have the workplace filled with music. it's relaxing!

since I never worked with people that liked the same kinds of music, and since we had to sometimes answer the phones, we couldn't listen to music except on ear phones, I started listening to audio books when I did data entry, really liked that.

When i was still working in a school... we would turn the music loud when there are no students... and that is usually during the summer or at the end of major exams... it is very nice to listen to music while checking papers... but now that i work alone in the office... i rarely listen to music... i like the silence... and there are times that i enjoy the noise students make... there is a school beside my office and the second floor is a classroom...

I play music but not that loud I don't want to disturb my co-workers. If ever I use a headphone so I can listen by myself in the volume I want.

Music makes the workday go much faster! When I'm working I enjoy music and most other people have iPods with earphones. I can't afford an iPod so I access music from the computer but keep it low so no one else can hear it. Then there are places that broadcast music over the company speakers but that drives me nuts because it's usually "muzac", dumbed down and tamed versions of good rock songs and it totally ruins them!

I'm a retail merchandiser. When I visit stores, the ones who have the most up beat music is the ones I love to work in the most. I sing right along. It makes work more pleasurable. When I'm in my car, sometimes I listen to music and sometimes I like silence. I think music in the work place is a good thing. Too much silence isn't good for you. It's a lonely feeling at times.

No, I never play some kind music out loud, cause will make me nuts means that I can't focus to my job in office and after that we will disturb somebody in there, and they will be mad to me..but I like to hearing music in my office softly not to loud.. Sometime to play music in the office make us changing our bad mood to a good mood, but of course we hearing that not so loud and we play it when got free time..
