Did they finally find a goalie in Anderson ? So far this year he's been amazing. The shootout win against the Detroit Redwings is mostly him, he kept the Av's in the game to pull it off.

Yes he looks real strong, very aggressive an you got to love that he is leading goalies in penalties...lol I just wonder if my Thrashers have found the answer in Pavelec so far has he looked great.

Well Pavelec did look good until tonight, man they shot one from one end of the ice into his net...

Yeah but right after that happened he let a softie in from the corner then got pulled, we still came back but came up short, then the next game Hedberg looked bad they pulled in put in Pavelec an we came up short again. Now we have lost Kovalchuk to a broken foot ugh, I haven't seen the Av's much since they took the center ice preview away, they are one of favorite western teams though.

That was a pretty weird bouncing shot though. I think it bounced twice and then over the goalie's shoulder.

The Avalanche are doing great right now. And Craig Anderson looks to be the real deal. If the playoffs were to start right now, then Colorado will be tops in the west. It helps to have great young players like Matt Duchene. But still, it is still early in the regular season. That's why they play 82 games. I still have hope for my team!

The Goalie position do make a big difference. In the Redwings game, Anderson kept them in the game, and he won it in the shootout. I see Vancouver beat the Blackhawks in the last game, they will be the team to beat in the West, young and hungry.

Looks good so far, we will have to see if they can sustain.

Anderson single handedly is the reason why the Avalanche are doing as well as we are. Night after night after night the Avalanche are constantly outshot yet we are still picking up the wins and still are one of the best teams in the NHL. This is an exciting team to watch and Anderson is a big reason why.

I'm glad they decided to keep O'Reilly for the season. Great young player who will be even better as he matures
