How do you treat the donating money?

I think with the economy the way it is, anyone will do anything to make a buck. I'm in a situation where I need a car. My father is dying and in order for me to make ends meet (I'm on disability), I have to move to a smaller town where the rent is cheaper, but I need a car to go from that small town back to where I live now to go to doctors and see my therapist. I've tried finding a car through every charitable agency and none of them have car donation programs. So what do I do? I don't have the answer. I've written to a few car lots asking for them to donate some back lot cars to my cause but I haven't heard anything back from them, and I probably won't, because it will cause them to lose money. How do I treat this phenonemon? I don't donate because I don't have the money to donate. End of story.
