Suppose you are working under someone who is paid on commision. The sales of that person is the first quarter of the year increases by a very good margin. As a person working under this person you feel that your contribution to the job also helped in raising the sales but you salary remains the same. How best can you negotiate for a salary increase.

Well, salary is always a sensitive topic in office. Most of time, we avoid talking it with our supervisores unless we're looking for a job. But if you really feel unfair, you can tell your boss. Maybe your boss didn't know all of your contribute before. Make he/she understand your real thought, it's absolutely helpful to your work and your future.
