Well i love to see fireworks, but two of my children are very scared of them.I think it is the loud bangs as they are alright watching the fireworks if they are indoors. So we tend to stay indoors and watch them as it saves all the screaming as well as the crying.

I like watching fireworks/firework displays. Seeing the different colors and patterns explode in the air, seems magical. Now to pop them myself, I could easily enough do without. I know too many people that got hurt by them. My cousin for one, had one come back and pop in his eye.

Hello jj. I don't like fire works very much because it is very noisy and dangerous. Every year when our Spring Festival comes, fireworks can be seen and heard everywhere. Some fires can happen because of the fireworks, especially in the city.

I love watching fireworks, they are stress reliever for me. When I see different forms of light in the sky it makes me happy because it is not everyday that we see fireworks. Moreover, there are some fireworks that I don't like. Those that can bring harm to my safety. I always stay indoors during New Year Celebration because it is not safe to watch some fireworks outside. WE adopt that belief from Chinese that loud sound can take always bad spirit from a certain place, to let all goodlucks enter in our houses.

Sure, fireworks are nice to look at, but they're dangerous as well as too loud. They're made with gunpowder, after all. And they make it rain the next day.

If your children are older than 3 years, ask them if they would like earplugs so that they can watch the beautiful colors and not be bothered by the noise. I LOVE fireworks! I'll go out of my way to see them, or I used to. I think this year I'll try taking the dogs with me in the car and park near the fireworks. Maybe if they're in the car with me they won't be so scared.

No I don't like fireworks. They are not only giving noise pollution but they are also polluting and damaging the environment. I hate to hear fireworks and seeing so many people ignorantly lighting fireworks and enjoying them so much without knowing what damage are they doing to mother earth and to people as well. These fireworks contain chemicals that are extremely poisonous such as barium, which a highly poisonous acid that affects the nervous system. Another harmful substance found in fireworks is antimony that can cause dizziness. Another bad substance found in fireworks is lead which can cause potential irregularities in nervous connections. When the fireworks are lighted, these harmful substances linger in the air and the extent of damage to the surroundings and people around is immeasurable. Fireworks produce smoke that also carry the dangerous compounds of sulfur-coal Copper compounds, and the very dangerous dioxin which is potentially cancer causing substance. Also Cadmium, lithium, antimony, rubidium, strontium, potassium nitrate which can trigger many respiratory and other health problems to human beings. So how could I ever like fireworks. I don't like them or should I say I hate them and I hope people will learn to hate fireworks as well and completely forget about buying and lighting them.

I do not like to shoot them off myself, but I am okay with public fireworks displays. I enjoy the beautiful colors and I really do not mind the loud sound that even shakes the earth.

I like to see them. But too much of them turns into a yucky smell. We had Diwali recently and there were a lot of fireworks.

I love fireworks! The beautiful bursts and shapes of color, the booms, the whole atmosphere of celebration! They are especially beautiful if set off where they will be reflected in a lake or other body of water. Karen

I like fire works they do make a lot of noise but most of them are pretty. I think real young kids do not like the loud bang that the fire workds make when kids get older they do like to watch them too. I watch fire works from my inside porch so I do not have to heard all the noise the only thing is that we can not see the fire works displays that are set off on the ground. I do not miss not being able to see the displays on the ground.

I am a fan of seeing the fireworks as well. I think all little kids are afraid of the sound of fireworks. I was as a child. My husband and I don't yet have children but when we do I assume we'll be enduring said screams as we'd have to leave our house to see fireworks...
