1.You can relieve a headache naturally by applying pressure to the acupressure point between the thumb and forefinger. Simply squeeze for 20 seconds and release for 10 seconds, without letting go. This should be done four times. Applying pressure at this point can also relieve tension and fatigue.
2.Use a neti pot and warm salt water to breathe more freely. As you clear and soothe the sinuses, congestion associated with allergies or infection will gradually disappear.
3.Soak for 20 minutes in a warm bath infused with two cups of apple cider vinegar. This will pull toxins from the body and can clear blocked energy.
4. The foods we eat have a profound impact on our outlook and mood. Try eating a small but satisfying meal rich in complex carbohydrates. This will lift your spirit and help you let go of feelings of anger, irritability, and depression.
5. Anxiety and fear can disappear quickly when countered with conscious breathing because concentrating on the breath enables you to refocus your attention inward. You can regain your usual calm by taking a series of deep belly breaths.
6.When you feel frustrated Spend a few minutes daydreaming or listening to soothing music. This will often help you see your circumstances from a new angle.

Very good natural health tips, Pose. I think I can make use of this acupressure point between the thumb and the forefinger, as I often got a headache. Though a friend had mentioned this already to me before, I just ignored it and rely on paracetamol instead. This time however, will give it a try. Thanks Pose for posting.

Well, I had heard about the headache thing but never tried it out mainly coz I don’t know where that particular acupressure point is located…I tried pressing on various spots in that particular region but the headache did not go. One thing if I may ask you is…does too much gas cause headache? My husband says so…I mean if I’ve had a meal then some hours after that I start having a headache…hubby says its coz of the build up of gas in the body…I don’t want to take meds so I tolerate the pain. But if this works then I would like to try it out

Hi sudiptacallingu, It is possible for gas to cause headaches but it doesn't happen all the time. There are different acupressure points but for a headache it's located between the thumb and forefinger. If you search the Internet you may be able to find a diagram of the exact location. Try googling 'acupressure point for headache' and you will probably find something. Thanks for your interest and I hope it works for you. Blessings.

Hi, you have posted a great discussion. All the information are so good for health. They might be heard about here and there, now and then, but never really taken seriously attention to, and even less adopted as an effective resort. In stead, many in trouble are just complaining, which will lead to worse conditions. With so many resources available, we should be able to find something fit for our issues, if any. Thanks for your information, and god blesses.
