My Zoo

In this past month my house has turned into a zoo. My son brought me a chinchilla she is a cool little animal and she really loves her treats. The kid that use to share the apartment with my son bought the poor little thing and never bought her food , he just fed the poor little girl bread , crackers or what ever . So when he moved out and left her my son brought her to me . She has really grown and is becoming a people pet. 3 days ago my cat had kittens (her sister is still pregnant). She has 4 adorable little ones. Last night my daughters little beagle/cocker had a litter of 6 pups. The daddy is catahoula/border collie/aus. I have a house full of critters.Would anyone like a kitten or a puppy? So if you have a zoo in your house tell me about it.if you would like a zoo in your house what would you have as pets. I really would like to have a hedgehog.

Yes, I have a zoo. But there was a time when it was worse than it is now..
Now: 5 dogs - 16 cats...and a bird.
2 years ago: 8 dogs 1 litter of 9 puppies, about a dozen or so adult cats, 2 litters of kittens one 6 kittens and one of 4.
plus a cockatiel.

I was expecting them to be funky looking pups but the are adorable. As soon as they get their eyes open I will post some of their pictures. The daddy is cute in a ugly sort of fashion his ears are lower to the sides of his head and he resembles a gremlin . There is one of the puppies that is colored just like him. Hopefully she wont have the gremlin ears.

Too bad you don't live closer. My house has been like Noah's Ark for years, and I'm looking for a puppy.
I have or have had cats, a bird, an iguana, 3 rabbits, dogs,a bearded dragon and a ferret. Not to mention the turtles and goldfish I'd bring home as a kid.
Can't help it. Most were adopted or rescued and I hate mistreatment of animals by anyone. Congrats to your son for saving that little chinchilla!

Ok it is not like this any more but about 6years ago I had
one Dog
3 Chinchillas and they are adorable
3 Cats and 8 Kittens
my Son had a Mouse (yuk)
My Daughter a Hamster
I think that was it lol and now, well just my Gissi
Gissi would not appreciate me getting a Puppy or Kitten so sorry I will have to pass

I love our little Juanita Rosita Consuela Chinchilla. My kids think it is funny that I gave her a name bigger than she is .. we all call her chincha for short. I use to raise mice and rats including the giants . we had hamsters and gerbils too. lots of little cage rodents.
