Haha, this happens to me ALL the time.
There could be two reasons that I have come up with:
1. You bumped your arm on something in the last few days without really noticing because you had things on your mind or you were thinking about something else, or doing something else for that matter...
OR
2. You went sleepwalking without realising and bumped your arm on something then, but because you were still asleep you didn't notice?

Yes this happens to me from time to time as well. Another thing that often happens is waking up with a lot of pain in my knee for some reason. Now here you would think by resting/sleeping in bed one's body would be relaxed and refreshed from a night's sleep, instead my knee will bother me so much I can hardly walk...like huh? How does that happen??

Yes, I have had that happen to me many times over the years. That same thing happens to my little 4 year old grand daughter often. We don't know how it happens to her either. Happy Mylotting.

Hahahaha...this happens to me all the time and the weird thing of it is that when I get these it never hurts or bothers me until days later or well I guess it is days later because I never really know where it came from or when I got it so I don't know how long it didn't hurt me. I am always telling my kids this too because they will notice a bruise on my leg or arm that i hadn't and will ask what happened and I will be like HUH? and they will say I have a bruise and I will be like well I have no clue because I didn't even know it was there LOL

I always have bruises that I don't know where I got it from. I'm a homemaker and roams around the doing chores. I might always bump into something that causes it. There was a time I got concerned if I have serious blood problem but blood count proved I'm ok. To ease your mind you can always visit a doctor and have a blood test. It's not gonna take much of your time.

I have one on my hand right now that's about the size of a pea. Have no clue how it got there. Has been there about a week and is pretty ugly. The aspirin I take each day causes my left arm and hand to bruise so easily. Nothing happens to my right arm which I find to be strange. Probably bumped it when reaching for something for our grandbaby babysitting the other night.

Yes, quite frequently. I seem to have inherited this problem from my mother. She had a bruise biopsied once (I didn't know a bruise could be biopsied) because her doctors thought it was strange how often she ended up bruised without knowing why. Well, first they grilled her about my dad. Asked if he beat her....my mom poor mom was appalled. She was like, don't blame my husband for what could very well be my absentmindness! lol They never did figure out why she always got bruises. Luckily, I don't have quite as big of a "bruise" problem as she does.

Oh my goodness I am always finding bruises that I don't remember getting!! My boyfriend saw a bunch of little ones all along the back of my upper leg lol I was like I have no clue what I could have done to get those!! I always have a few here and there, on my arms, legs wherever!! I'm just naturally clumsy so I have been like this forever =)

I have definitely found bruises that I didn't know how I had obtained. However, what really got me was many years ago I woke several days in a row with one eye almost swollen shut. About 3 nights in I woke up just as I was bringing my hand up with my thumb aimed right at my eye! Thankfully I've never had that happen again. Knock on wood!

I get bruises all the time and I never know how it happened. I take a blood thinner so its really easy for me to bruise, it seems like all I have to do is brush up against something and I'll get one..lol. You should see my legs, they're all spotted up..haha.

I think everybody does that. I know i do. My grandson gets them all the time & i ask him about them & he has no idea most of the time how he got them & i'm the same way.

Plenty of times and I think its quite common with us mothers. Most of the times we are actually not in our senses (at least I’m not)…we’re either running here or there after so many things yet so much more needs to be done and then there’s the kid yelling for something and hubby getting late and all that…I bump against most things in my house and I no longer bother to wait and see the bruise…its only later maybe while bathing that I see a coin sized blue spot and then I am like…hmmmmmmmmmm….where did I get this!!! But otherwise if I have the time, an ice pack woks wonders for such bruises…I hope you tried one.

yup! i experience that. Before i was wondering where i get my bruises. My aunt would tell me that my period is coming that is why i have bruises already. So now when bruises showed up on my legs, i kmow that my period is approaching. I dont know if there is any connection or any scientific explanation with bruises and menstrual period.

Absolutly! Especially when you don't recall bumping into anything in that particular area. But I also suspect we do bump into things from time to time and don't think anything of it til we see a bruise and then wondered how that happened.

All the time! I have bruises in strange places like the back of my shoulder and if I was a drinker I would swear I was stumbling around the house judging from some of the marks all over my body!
We just get so busy we don't know what we are doing. If you can, try paying attention to every moment. Don't multitask if possible, live in the moment just for a couple hours--you'll be surprised how often you bump against something!

Yes definitely! This has happened to me quite a few times - not so much these days but when I was a little girl I would often wake up in the morning and see a bruise, or I'd be getting changed and I'd notice a bruise, with no idea of how it got there! Not so much these days though. It might be happening if you have kids and are spending time playing with them - all that knocking around might be what is causing it but you are probably so busy playing that you don't notice it!

Hi there and smile.
I bruise easily. Sometimes i get bruises in my knees and arms. It happens when i bump on hard objects, within the day i can already see the mark. I can also see that i have bruises or scratches because i scratch my skin and not know it because im sleeping.
Happy mylotting and smile always!
