i have been told that having alot of garlic in your diet can repel blood suckers like fleas and mosquitos. what i wonder is first if its true and second if thats why vampires are usually portrayed as being allergic to garlic? what do all you mylot peoples think?

That could very much be true. I know a person who drinks water with vinegar and honey and he swares by it as a misquito repellent. Says he has done it for years and that it worked for him. I think it must be true. Some chemical in it that the misquitos dislike.

i think the vinegar is probably the thing but i bet the honey makes it easier to drink. ive never been able to drink things like flavored water i much prefer it plain but i love garlic in my food!

I like things with garlic too! I have always liked vinegar. I just take a swig now and then. It also helps with a tan! Enjoy the garlic!

Yup it does. Mosquitoes (and vampires if you believe in them. Lol!) dislike the skin secretion caused by garlic. If you really don't mind smelling like a pizza hut's bread stick then 15mg dose a day will actually repel blood sucking insects. You can get 15mg of garlic through capsule.
Another alternative to garlic is by taking vitamin B-complex. It omits odour that is not detectable to human but grosses out those nasty little creatures. Happy trying and myLotting!
