If you can choose your career, what would you want to be?

I'm now working as a general clerk in a medium-sized company. But this is not what I want. I just work for money though, because I still searching for a job that is related to my studies before - IT. But, next month, I'll be working in an IT company, with a good payment. That's satisfy me a lot. But actually, I dream of becoming a singer. A star. I've the opportunity to be a singer before, but stupidly, I reject the offer.... After 1 year of thinking back, I regret for not accepting it.

I love to be a professional dancer. Just like you I am not also good in dancing so I just let it be a dream. In the near future, I really like to be a guidance counselor because I am a good listener and somehow also good in giving out advice. I wish I could still go for that dream. Hi vivianchen! it's true that some of us dont like our work but we are left with no choice because it is one way to make a living. As for me, i want to be a very good businesswoman. I want to be the expert in terms of money matters. How money works, what and where to invest it. for now, my work is somehow in line with my chosen course but not with business. I dream that someday i can run my own business. Anyways, im still hopeful that i'll make that dream come true.

good discussion! if i have the chance to choose my career,i would like to become a free private investor,have high avility of all of the project,only stay in front of the computer and count which one is the time to buy and which one is the time to sell.there are much money will be drag in my pocket.but, very regret,i have no good brain to do this. so i'm only a small clerk,earn a little salary.good luck and have a nice day!

hi vivianchen, i think i would choose to be an interpretor if i have chance to choose my career. for i was majoring in language in college study, so i would like to help other to translate for them. but i also like to be an actress, i think it is cool and i like to be another one in a movie and act well in every my works.:)

i am a caregiver graduate, if given a chance to choose i would prefer to a doctor specialist in brain. it's too late when i get interested in medicine.. now i really find it very interesting and challenging because somehow you can change a person's life.. you can cure some diseases and you can diagnose.. and it's a very noble job i can offer free service to those who's in need of help esp. the less fortunate people...it is a very fulfilling to help someone.

I am becoming a teacher. I am working toward my certification right now and enjoy the coursework a lot. I am looking forward to be able to teach next school year.

I will be a part of showbiz industry, maybe on screen or off screen but i wann be a part of it.

Actually i did choose my work. Not because im maddly in love with that type of work its bacause i wanted to be self employed and didnt have a lot of money to invest in to what i really wanted to do. I run a small cleaning business. I do most the work myself but sometimes hire someone for the day. Lately i have been thinking about increasing the work and hiring a couple unemployed girls i know. They have both said they would love that. My fear is them being undependable and leaving me to do they work alone. That happen once before. Im getting up there in age and want to work less not more. What i would really love to do is...open a campground or headshop or medical marajuana despensary.

If I could choose any career at all right now it would philanthropist. That would be a really good career for me.

Yes, I love to my work. Whatever I thought, done. Firstly my dream was to do job in medical profession. for that, I did pathology lab technecian diploma and on the basis of that i worked for 6 years in medical profession that timed i was enjoyed. suddenly I dreamed to work in IT field. Again I worked for that now this still working IT job and i am enjoying.

For me, I reall want to start my career as a Freelance Writer. In fact, maybe for a natural talent, I really want to get into writing articles and want to be published in magazines. If I can meet some chances in the future, I will choose to start my career as a Freelance Writer for an online company. By the way, to be a lawyer is really cool. Happy everyday.

I am a housewife .I am also one who would love to a popular singer.I feel that is a profession which would entertain millions of people and the voice would be immortal.Another thing is the voice would remain the same even in old age .Ofcourse I am also not a good singer .I pray to the Almighty to imbibe in me the talent of singing in my next birth.

I love to work with people and I have had many interesting jobs in the past. I enjoyed working in kindergardens, homes for people with special needs and nursing homes, but I would love to work as a therapist, and that is one of my dream jobs. I am especially interested in working with children who are suffering from selective mutism, and I would like to become a art therapist or a music therapist. I am also interested in working at a psychiatric clinic for adults, I think that could be very interesting, too.

Since I was a kid I like to be a soldier because I witness soldiers then in our area that was fight against the rebel. But when I was in college and witness some injustice in the government where poor people have not avail to fee lawyer to depend themselves from abuse and unjust conviction about the crimes that they are actually done...My dreams to became a soldier then is shifted dream to became a lawyer...But that dream is only dream and if we can change our career I prefer to be a lawyer...have a nice day!

There are times when I think I want to become a singer he he he... You know, those dreams of being famous, but in reality I don't actually want that to happen because I just sing for fun especially in the shower room!! I am in the hotel and tourism industry and I am actually happy with my choice. I just dream of having my own hotel or resort. That's what I am good at.

When I was younger I always wanted to be a RN. Then I changed that to nurse anesthesiologist or something in forensics. I do have a BA in business at this time. but I am going back to school for my paralegal degree. I am disabled so there are not very many jobs that are interesting in the business per-say market. I do plan to get my paralegal to go with my business degree to contract my paralegal services out.

If i were to choose a career, I would be an interior designer. I love to watch interior design programmes on TV. This has greatly influenced my interest. I now go out to shops to window shop fabric and house hold items.
