"i love you because i love you not because i want you to love me back"

Almost all people are very familiar of this line,"I love you and I want you to love me too." It's human nature that we all love. We live to love and if "you miss love you miss life." Whenever we love somebody most of us really exhibit to the person whom we love. That's why when we tell the person how much we love him/her we get disappointed when we know that he/she doesn't love us. It's very ironic sometimes, most especially when someone shows you that he/she loves you but we get angry because we don't like the other and we want him/her to get over you. Isn't it wonderful that someone is loving you? Isn't it wonderful that someone has shown you his/her love? Isn't it wonderful to love because you love not because you want something in return? The problem most of us are facing is the fear of being dumbed. We fear of the idea that when you tell the person whom you love about what you feel for them they might neglect you. Am I right? If you always expect someting but then it won't meet our expectation we easily get depressed and the tendency is we usually lose our hope. And we're afraid to risk because of the fear to be hurt again. But how would we know that it's worth risking for if we didn't even try?

Hi,postmodernangel.
You are sooooooooooo right!!!!I like your point a lot,it's sounds like"I love you, but it's non of your business."It will be a stress that someone who tell you he/she love you but you don't,i really don't like that feeling.
