Eat out or do the cooking yourself

When you invite your friends to dinner, do you like to eat out or do the cooking yourself. I usually eat out though it will cost more money. If we do the cooking ourselves, there is too much work. It will make my wife and I very busy. We have to go shopping, cook, clear away the dishes. It's really hard. What's your opinion about it?

Hi there! Since my husband is a good cook, when we have a celebration and invited our friends to eat, he usually do the cooking. You are right that it is expensive to eat out plus the fact that sometimes the dishes being served is not that delicious. Though cooking may have disadvantages of having to tidy up the kitchen and washing the dishes afterwards, we prefer this way.

I would rather cook food at home. I think , like what you said, it is a lot more expensive dining out. I want them to be able to relax and at the same time, it will not be too burdensome for me as far as finances is concerned.

well for me livin in hostel ... eating out is cheap and affordable ... and also new lplaces to visit too .... and thers no tension of room getsspoiled and dish wahs etcetra ..so eating out is the best option :)

I prefer cooking although it is more work rather than going to a restaurant to eat. In addition to the cost, eating out would not be as comfortable as staying at home. We cannot also stay as long as we want since the restaurant is bound to close at some point and in order to stay longer, we have to order more food and drinks. However, if I have to many guests like 12++ people, I usually ask for help or I might buy prepared foods from the restaurant to augment what I am preparing.
