My old friend

I have a friend, we knew each other for 10 years.
I like him very much, he knows about me a lot.
He is a beam of light for me, when I sad
He is a reason why I can laugh.
I phoned him last night, but didn't connect.
He went abroad. He said he'll come back next week.
But also I can't meet him when he come back,
The country is so big....

one may have such a close friend other than a lover
they know each other well
but cannot live years together which
will ruin the particular friendship
keep a certain distance is wise
just keep him in your heart
as a sweet memory
if you cannot meet him anymore
then start a new life
