I always hear people say if my husband or boyfriend ever hit me I would leave no matter what. I too believed that until it happen to me. Once it happen things got complicated we had kids,a home, he made the most money, and I still loved him. I finally left after 5yrs of abuse but now my friend is in the same place, she's pregnant and her boyfriend has put her in the hospital i can't get her to leave. what would you say to change her mind?

I would tell tell her that if he is hitting her knowing that she is carrying his child, what is going to happen to the child if he gets angry like that.Do she think he will not hit the child or both of them.Tell her if she is prepared to get hit again fine if that is what she want, but what if something happens to the child when he hits out.

What are you saying? Husband or Boy friend has every right to hit you provided you are wrong or you have done something wrong. If you are at fault, you should have the responsibility to face the consequences. If it's a slap at the face, then you should take it if you really love him, Because Love matters the most. This is the case only when the guy loves you a lot.

No thats not what I'm saying at all I don't believe a man ever has the right to put his hands on a woman. I just didn't have the courage to leave at first. Some people fault the woman for not leaving the first time a man hits her I just believe it's not that easy or simple it takes time and a lot of courage.
