Two of our kids have December birthdays and it's hard sometimes to separate the birthday presents from the Christmas presents. And our other two kids always complain that they don't get as many presents that time of year. Because the holidays are so busy we usually plan a half-birthday party in the summer time so they can have special time with their friends and not be overshadowed by all of the Christmas celebrations in December.

Mine would be either Thanksgiving or Christmas, there is something about these two holidays, I just get that feeling. I would probably say that Christmas is my favorite though just because of my kids...I love their faces on Christmas morning and the fun of being Santa. It is nice to be able to make believe again and I am so glad that they are still at the ages where they are still believing because I know here within the next year or so that they aren't going to be but to know that even though they don't know it is you, you are the one that has given them what they really wanted and you are the reason their smiles are from ear to ear. I also love the smell that Christmas has...the smell of snow.

I like Christmas as well. It is one of my favorite holidays because you get to give gifts and eat all kinds of pies and other deserts. Plus, the best part, if you're lucky, is that you get to spend time with your family.
Another one of my favorite holidays is the Fourth of July, or Independence Day. It has a lot of the same bonuses as Christmas, except you don't give gifts to your family. But, you do get to have fireworks. I love to watch the fireworks displays. At my old house, I never had to shoot off my own fireworks, because there were so many displays that you could see from standing in my yard. It was an excellent event.
One of my most favorite memories of Independence Day, was the year I went to Boston for the holiday. I got to see the "USS Constitution" aka Old Ironsides, do it's annual turnaround. And I also got to see the Boston Pops Orchestra perform while watching fireworks over the St. Charles River. That was an excellent day!

Hi there!
Christmas is my favorite holiday too. It is big especially here in the Philippines. Usually, Christmas decors are put up right after Halloween and family reunions take place during the Christmas holiday and that's what I love most about it. Most of us does not need to go to work and we can just spend quality time for each other as long as we keep it simple. Good food, family, laughter and exchange gifts.

Christmas Eve is my favorite holiday. I love the nighttime mass and the big Christmas Eve dinner with my family. It's always exciting staying up late wrapping last minute presents and sipping cocoa with my sisters, then stuffing stockings for the next morning.

I like Lenten Season, it was the time that I find myself reflecting on what I have done wrong and what I should have done better. I am based on a Catholic Country and we usually celebrated it by remembering the sufferings of Jesus. I also like the tradition of visiting different churches where we pray the Station of the Cross (life of Jesus). I like it because I was able to admire the different Catholic churches here in my country. This is also the time of the year where we have family reunions especially on Easter Sunday where we have lunch together.
