In my opinion I would sell something that is used and has a pretty high resail value. Go to local garage sales get some good deals and then sell those things on Ebay.

I have things to sell as well. I have some boutineers I did not use for my wedding and I have some vases I have not used. What prices should I start selling things items for and what days are the best to post things? Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Check out the link on my profile. It is a new Auction Site that doesn't charge you an end valuation fee like Ebay does. If you sign up using my link you will get 5 listings FREE!!! You can have 5 pictures and a video on your listings also FREE!!!

I love sling on Ebay!! Whenever I am thinking of listing something I look it up and see if others are making a good profit selling similar things! Right now I just sell my kids clothes that they have outgtrown and random other things that I come across in my house that we don't need anymore.

Hi there MoneyMommy! I used to sell on eBay as well.
One of the things that I found which sells very well on eBay is old pamphlets and brochures. If you can pick up old manuals they usually do well too. I'm talking about thin paper manuals that usually are instructions for something, Red Cross pamphlets, etc.
And the best thing is that these can be put into a large brown envelope and mailed without you even leaving your house. The shipping is so inexpensive that the people will bid a little bit higher.
The only other thing that I can think of is gift cards. If you can get with one of the companies that distributes gift cards and purchase them at a discount, then you can probably make a profit on them. I sold one that I received for Home Depot that I didn't need, and sold it for almost the same price of the card, minus shipping and PayPal expenses of course.
Good luck to you! I hope you find the perfect product that will be very prosperous!

I just decided to restart selling on ebay, probably for the Christmas season only. Right now, my only item is a Vancouver Canucks calendar but I'm thinking of using more social media to promote my items.
What did you sell previously on ebay?

I think you shall keep on it. I envy you that you can sell well from Ebay:) Why give it up? I always like to do some business like that. It is a new experience. However, I am not interested in selling from Ebay. Because it will charge me every month even if I can't sell out anything.
I love China
