What do your children watch on tv? Mine love this educational cartoon called SuperWhy. It is about a bunch of characters who use their ability to read to solve problems. It's a really cute show.

Mine LOVE Caillou. Even the baby (one this weekend!) will 'sing' with the theme song lol

My daughter watches mainly Animal Planet and Discovery channel nature stuff. She loves animals.
Sometimes she watches SuperWhy. She likes it. I think it is really creative. My daughter is into Princesses, I think most 6 year old girls are. She likes Princess P. My daughter can quote "Peas and Carrots, carrots and Peas, book come come out please please please." lol

For the most part my kids will watch just regular type cartoons like Spongebob or Scooby Doo but they also like to watch a lot of the Disney channel shows like Hannah Montana, Suite Life on Deck and even iCarly. I won't let them watch the offensive cartoons like Johnny Bravo but to be honest they have never really asked to either. My kids watch tv and cartoons but in the same they don't watch a lot of it they will mostly watch about an hour a day if that.. I don;t think that is too bad but in the same their may be some parents who think that is a lot, I guess it depends on your raising techniques. My son who is 10 is also been watching CSI NY a bunch lately..it is a show that I like to watch and now he has been watching with me. I realize that it has violence in it but I also like the aspect of the find..he is so fascinated in the way the come to the answers and has told me a ton of times how he thinks that type of job would be great so I guess I let him watch him for the some what education of it because he seems to want to maybe make a career like that and if these fake shows could help him in any way why would I stop that?
