Best Response

hi there! I don't mark best response immediately...I mean, I let it be on my "unresolved" tab for a while. Then after a week or two, I'll decide which one is the best response from my point of view. But it sometimes took me more than three weeks before i could who it will be because you'll never know if there are people who would still like to post on your created topics. But giving best response is the nicest and coolest feature here in mylot, its like you have the power to decide which one gives the best answer. And i love giving it because, its like a token of appreciation to the person who took time for giving his/her best answer to a certain discussion. But as you say, people here on mylot seems to be all creative and smart on giving their opinions or insights so its hard to choose which one is the best. . .What I do if i got two or more good response, I go back to the discussion after sometime and read it once again...lol.. and decide which one have the "UMP" or edge. hahaha. But it could always park on my unresolve tab and I still can check it up whenever I want to.

when i give out best responses, i usually give it to someone who i feel took their time or put their heart into the response that they gave to my discussion. if someone just typed something and i feel like they just did it just to have something to do or to increase their earnings then i don't give them the best response. there have been times when i wanted to award more than one person who has responded to one of my discussions with the best response, but i can't. when this happens i give it to the one i think deserve it the most, or if it's hard to decide between the 2 then i don't give it to anyone. as far as if we get more points or money if we are rewarded with a best response i am not sure. it would be a nice added bonus if we could.

It is really difficult which one to choose among so many great responses. I kind of feel that it is sometimes unfair to choose one over the others so I end up not choosing a BR at all. enjoy!

My solution for liking more than just one is to just not mark a best response at all. In fact, I rarely do. I find it REALLY hard to pick out which ONE is the best response - especially like when you said - we receive SO many great responses!

I do not think we could get anything for having mark as good response that the feeling of fulfilment. The feeling that is like something you did a great job. When you also mark someone from your discussion as best response that is a way of encouraging them to make more quality answers. It is also a way of rewards. That they made an effort to do such a nice response. And I think that making someone happy by appreciating them is much more valuable than giving a cent.

I don't start all that many disucssions, but those I have starteed, I had issued best response. I don't give it right away as mylot recommends we wiat at least a week, as it give other users a chance to respond, and there might be better responnses that way. I have found it hard at times though, as I would get more than one good response, so I would just have to go over all the responses, and read them again, and choose the best one, and then somtimes it is still hard. I wish we could give more than one best response, but since we can't, I want to make sure that I shooe just the right one. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
