There Was Nobody Left...

I'm sure you are all familiar with the famous quote about the Holocaust attributed to Martin Niemöller: "In Germany they came first for the Communists and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me–and by that time no one was left to speak up." I think of this quote in our modern times when I see the demonization and unrelenting attempts to DESTROY anyone who dares to speak out in a critical manner of the Obama administration and it's cabal of radical Marxists, leftists, communists and lunatics commonly referred to as "czars" who wield great power but are not held accountable to the America people or even to Congress. If you allow yourself to be cowed into silence either because you don't think Obama will one day turn on you too, or because you are afraid that standing up for your God given Liberty which is protected by the constitution will end up getting you too marginalized, ridiculed, demonized and publicly pilloried, think again - your silence makes you complicit in the immoral censorship of dissent and odds are in favor of them one day stepping on one of YOUR freedoms and then they will come for you too. First they came for the Republicans but I was not a Republican so I said nothing, then they came for the Tea Party protesters, but since I was not one of those I said nothing, then they came for Fox News, but I don't watch Fox so I said nothing, then they came for the Gay bloggers, but since I am not a gay blogger I said nothing, then they came for the doctors, but I was not a doctor so I said nothing, then they came then they came for the Chamber of Commerce, but I again said nothing, and when they came for ME, and there was nobody left to speak out for me. Think it can't happen? It's happening NOW!

Some really good people allowed Hitler to kill six million or more people. They went to church, they loved their fellowman and their country. But their silence and do nothing attitude allowed it to happen. They were also looking for CHANGE. They wanted hope renewed. They were worried about their futures. I suggest everyone read the history of Germany BEFORE Hitler's rise to power. I see some really good people doing the same thing today.

Of course it can happen. But it isn't Obama specifically it's the big money in the background that owns Obama and most of the other politicos in this country.
