I was just wondering, because I joined about 2 weeks ago. Is anyone making any money, because the site seems like a lot of work. Just trying to keep up with the friends requests take a lot of time. I will stick with it if it is worth the time and effort to make a little extra money.

Honestly- NO - unless you can get a LOT of referrals who are also very ACTIVE.
you wont make anything. After almost 2 years on there I think I have about $4. and I was very active.. I did make some good friends. and I did learn about a few great sites on there. it is good for that. but, as far as money.. you need HUNDREDS of referrals That are VERY VERY active!

All I can say...don't bother with Yuwie. I joined up when it first appeared about two years ago...after a year or so I only made about $2.00. Unless you have a long downline and referrals you're not going to make much---I deleted my account long time ago

I joined Yuwie a few years ago but I let it go after only a few months, earning is kinda slow and you need to be really focus on Yuwie to earn a penny. At that time, Yuwie was s till new and they tend to change their rules every now and then (I'm talking about the past, okay, when I'm still active), that had gotten me to quit earlier too. It was hard for me, I can think of various strategies and things to do when I logged in in the morning just to find out that what I think is okay wasn't anymore because of the new set of rules, I wasn't happy so I let it go.

hi irishmist,
you can never make any money on yuwie and it is most frustrating site i ever saw and admin lies a lot there. I had over 25,000 page views in one month and i made only 63 cents.. and you can know how much time and effort it must have took but no all they do is divide even your page views by 10 and it comes to naught..so if ur on yuwie u wont earn ur 5 dollars all your life if you are for money there but u can use it like facebook or myspace.

Thank you for the advice. I guess it really is a waste of time for me. Not to mention all the friends request that I get takes up a lot of time to look at their pages only to find they are just looking to promote their own selves.

I just re-joined roughly a month ago after taking a long hiatus from it. Instead of focusing on how much I make, I'm doing what someone who posted before me suggested...use it like MyLot, making friends, posting, being involved and what not. Don't just focus on the money aspect of it, although that's a nice benefit. :D
Happy MyLotting!

Well I think I'm just gonna quit the site. I don't think it will be worth it in the long run.

Yes, I'm in YUWIE. A lot less active than I was in the past.
They really pay. I received 27$ and 7$.
It took a lot of activity to reach these small payments.
I think the only way to win some decent money there is to build a huge referral list (down to level ten where it is really profitable), and keep the referrals active and motivated, which is not very easy.
I have 333 referrals down to level 5, but most are inactive. there are tricks to keep then active, but it requires time that I don't have at the moment.
I will be happy to discuss any topic about YUWIE and share my experience with you, just allow me some time to reply.
Would you like to add me as a friend there?

Sorry but you really wasted your time on signing up.
I signed up 2 years ago and quit a few months after because I made 200 referrals and they were almost active but still at the end of the month I ONLY made a measly of .15...can you believe that!?
So I just quit!

I joined Yuwie long time ago. I had been active in it for a month and looked forward to a good earning. However, my efforts were only worth one cent. I was just too disappointed to it. I didn't understand why and it seemed my efforts were in vain. After that, I am not active in Yuwie any more. I have doubts to Yuwie and I don't want to waste my time for it.
I love China

If you want to make friends, there are still some very nice people there. If you want to make money, you will have to get thousands of referrals and keep them active to make anything. I'm doing better here on my own efforts in a month than I do on Yuwie in 6 months.

Well... I am HERE because of someone I met at Yuwie, and I went to Yuwie when it started because of a friend I met on another board almost 6 years ago when I was pregnant lol. Granted the original friend runs a home business comprised of online earning opportunities, which is why she promoted Yuwie heavily - but I have come to the conclusion that the money is HERE, not there. Now if they made facebook like that, but you'd earn one cent every time you visited pages or left comments or used apps... well.... I'd be pretty rich by now because I'm always there lol. Facebook isn't work though , and neither is mylot.
I have never enjoyed things that work with a pyramid or downline or whatever you want to call it, when you have people you have to get signed up 'under you' in order to make anything. It's also a small percent comparatively, like say you need at least 3 referrals or associates or something but then you only make like 10% of what they bring in. That means you still need to do the bulk of your own earning, or you need to have like 10 referrals who ALL are very active and EACH get their own 10 referrals to help boost THEIR incomes.
I'd compare this to myself - say I made an average of $20 a month, which is pretty average. Say I had two referrals. Well, one referral did super well and made like $10.07. My 10% is hmmm... about $1. My other referral didn't make minimum, but for the sake of argument, they made ALMOST $5. I would make 50 cents from the referral but not receive that I don't think until they make their minimum. Anyway, it is a pain in the butt to have to count on referrals and the activity of other people. I prefer not to, I have ONE semi-active referral here and I haven't seen much of her lately. I haven't been super busy myself either but I do try to do what I can when the mood strikes me. I much prefer places where what you make is pretty much based on the level of YOUR participation, and the quality of it. This is probably the best, most consistent site that doesn't go belly up, NOT pay out, or change the rules constantly. I've been at a site here and there where they pay a set amount per posting or review, and if I could find a place that would pay say, 25 cents to a dollar for each posting or paragraph or whatever and it accepted and paid me consistently and I could easily make anywhere from $15-40 a month, I would do it. The problem is, places like that don't seem to exist. I don't want to review things or write 1200 word reviews in order to generate a 25 cent payment which I might 'not' get because too many other people reviewed the same thing.
I'm starting to ramble and apparently I saw something shiny because now I need to go look up something on vocab development before I forget it...

I was joining this few years ago and it make me sad, because it's hard to earn some money, ref or something else in yuwie site, so based on my experience I will not recommend this site..maybe this site just only waste your time..
