guy...i have opinion here...i think man u need to buy new goalkeeper to replace van der sar because he almost want to retire and always injured.i think foster not good enough to replace him.he always make a bad mistake while in game. And for defender i think man u should think about player who can replace ferdinand when he injured.evan still dunt have experiance to replace ferdinand when fight with big team.he dont have chemistry with vidic as center back..what u guy thinking???

I don't think Man. United should look for a new goalkeeper. Foster and Kuzcak are good enough. They just need more experiences. I think Johny Evans still can be stronger. I'm sure he can learn from Ferdinand and Vidic. But I agree that Man. United should buy new experienced defenders because Man. United will plays a lot of games in many competitions. Maicon will be good enough.

Foster has been very unconvincing for me though. As for PIG I think he has done alright be isn't top class. There are many young rising top draw goalkeepers out there and I wouldn't be surprised if Fergie Opted for one.

MU need to buy new goalkeeper if foster still have not learn to make decison better in the next 1 or 2 years when he retire. for defender. ferdinand and vidic is one of the main reason they win EPL straight for 3 years, i dont think they lack chemistry. their recent weak performance is because they are not confident with foster and cant communicate with him.

I've seen a lot of Ben Foster throughout the years and I've seen what he's capable of. Technically he is as good as a goalkeeper can get. He's handling is excellent, his reflexes are lighting fast. The issue that he currently has is that he suffers from a lack of confidence. At his most commanding playing for Watford, he looked by far the best English goalkeeper around, I know that doesn't say much, but because of that I think he deserves a chance. You must understand that he hasn't had the development that many other goalkeepers have gone through. His career only really got started when he signed for United. Before that, he was stuck as a reserve goalie at Stoke. He only had two full seasons as first team keeper and only one in the Premiership. He's been injured since he got back from his loan spells at Watford. All these setbacks has really hampered his confidence. In an interview he did a couple of years ago when United were touring South Africa, he mentioned that he didn't really feel like a United player because he haven't been around the club much. Stepping up as United's first choice is a huge step for him. A step that he is more than capable of, but a step that requires patients and understanding. Fergie see what Foster does in training, so he know what this lad is capable of. With a World Class keeper in Van Der Saar, Fergie has the means to groom Foster into one of the best keepers in the world. Remember, Van Der Saar was similar at Juventus, it was the reason why they replaced him with Buffon. Look where Van Der Saar is now. Surely it pays to have a little patients.
