Hello zerocode! I'm working for Sun Cellular. Here's my honest and unbiased opinion :) Sun Broadband may not reach the 3MBPS connection at all times since the 3G signal varies from one location to another. My suggestion is, have someone do a test visit at your place before you subscribe. I know you can request that from the business center you wish to apply at. And there is also a system or tool for checking if 3G signal is available in a certain area. Will you be using it within Manila only? As far as I know (I maybe wrong but I can check.. hehe..), Sun Broadband is currently available within Manila only but of course, making it work outside Manila is already in the works. Like in my case, I live in Bulacan. So I had to subscribe to our "competitor" network (haha.. :)) so that I can enjoy broadband connection. Given my location, I personally have not tried Sun Broadband yet. So I don't have that much to say about connectivity concerns (I'm just basing it from subscribers' experiences... some are very satisfied while some have connectivity issues... and location or PC compatibility have a bearing on it). But of course, if you are after the cheapest broadband rates, Sun Broadband is the top choice. Hope this helps. :)

It happened to me. They visited my place on the sixth month of my complaint. They fix my connection problem but my is speed is only 1 kbps and sometimes less.

I'm using sun broadband now as I type this It may not be entirely true that they really provide 3mbps connection but I'm really satisfied with my connection right now. I'm happy with it. I have tried globe and smart and man they're really slow.

That's good to know that their broadband connection is good! I hope it can last long I'm afraid that if they have many subscribers the service will suffer like what happened in their mobile service. Nice one man! God Bless!

I don't know about their internet connection but for me if there mobile line sucks...their internet connection sucks too. It's quite the same, wireless connection. Why don't you try smart bro two of my friends used them. I hope I'm wrong with their internet connection, just my theory. God Bless!

I am using Smart broadband. Every hour I am getting disconnection. and the speed will drop to 1 kbps. its service is not good. Whenever I call the hot line or their call centers, they will tell me that the feedback from their technical personnel that there is not problem in my area. Their technical people are not working properly and always tell their call centers that their cell sites are doing ok.

Do not ever try sun broadband. I subscribe to sun broadband a year ago. My first 3 months was ok. But on the 4th month it started to disconnect immediately after the connection was made. I made complaints to their hot line and business center almost everyday. They started to fix it after six months of my complaint. Today my speed is just 1 kbps. I wanted to terminate my account but they want to penalized because my subscription is for 24 months. So now I am stuck with Sun. Warning: do not ever try to subscribe to Sun.
