Ronaldinho is a superb player, but had a major slump in his form.It is good to see him play the way he did.His skills are extraordinary and I was really missing them.Back to prime form he is great to watch and is a handful for any defence.

Ronaldinho had a goodish game against Madrid. He showed flashes of his old self. At his very best he's surely amongst the Ronaldos, the Messies and the Kakas. However, I'm not as enthusiastic as many are about Ronaldinho's performance. Yes, the skill is there, it was never gone, but what made him so special was his sudden turn of pace. Defenders used to have to stay off abit to keep trace of his ball control. If they didn't pay attention, a sudden change of direction and he's gone. This was what had Ronaldinho special. He's not doing that for Milan now. Defenders are not as afraid of him as they used to, they no longer give him as much space as they used to because they know they can get close to him to pressurize him.
It maybe a fitness issue, or it may just be the natural cycle of one's physical capabilities, but until Ronaldinho reproduces his turn of pace, he will continue to live in the shadow of his former glorious self. I'm a fan of football and I sincerely hope that Ronaldinho rediscovers himself and play to his former capabilities.

I think it's because he gained wait, he partied too much and jsut didn't look after himself which was very unprofessional like. I'm sure if he looked after himslef the way R.Giggs did he'd be widely known as the best player on the planet. Even better than Maradona and Pele himself. I'm positive about this as his performances for Barcelona were simply amazing.
