For you whats better, to be single or to be in a relationship? There are advantages of being single and there are also advantages of being in a relationship. There are also things that you can do when you're single and cannot when you're into a relationship and there are also things that you can do when you're into a relationship and cannot when you're single. What do you think are those things that makes a single person different from a taken person?

Being single I can do whatever I want, when I wat without trying to fit it into a schedule with another person. I think it deopends on the person which is best, being single or taken. I know by now take if a guy thinks he will change my way of living , he is strongly mistaken. But then again , i never was told I Had to be with someone. I would love to be in love . but trying to mix that with marriage sounds useless to me. Si I guess the best relationship for me would be where we both feel free to do what we want And try to see each other often.

That is true. Just be happy of what you are. Enjoy your time being single coz this is not forever. Maybe your BF is not yet the one for you. Coz when the time comes that the right guy will come you would be much happy being in a relationship.
Goodluck! Enjoy your life and be happy.

There are a lot of differences but whatever makes the person contented and happy, it doesn't matter...
When I was a student, I prefer not to be in any relationship, I love being inspired by crushes etc but I know my priorities and it wasn't having a bf!
But, I have a lot of friends also that time who are so happy and contented having a bf!

I believe not just being in a relationship is better, I think being married is better than both. I am happily married to the most wonderful man in the world. Being single is loney and being in a relationship is well ok but being married is being committed to spend the rest of your life with the person who loves you the most. How great is that.

In the long run I would rather be in a loving relationship. There is something beautiful about 2 people that love eachother and please eachother. But if one of the relationship is very mean and an all round jerk. It is better to be single. Plus, being single and going through the process of finding that person to share a relationship with is rather fun and a wonderful process. But, at the end of the day I'd rather be in a relationship and be able to crawl into bed with someone that I knew cared for me.

I have yet to discover any advantages to being married yet, so therefore I am single. However there is one specific disadvantage to being single.
The way people treat you when they find out you are single. It's funny, when I hear people get married, I'm happy for them. Yet when they hear I am single, they act like... oh so sorry. I did not know that you were ... single.
Sometimes, not always, they act like I am not ok. Like I'm not special because I'm single. Which really gets on my nerves. Or worse, when they try and hook me up with someone. As if I don't have someone, then I'm not as good as they are.
Other than that little thing, I love being single. Maybe someday I will not be single, but until them, I'm doing fine.

I have lived alone in the past and been in a relationship, and I would much prefer to be in a relationship.
If I have a good(or bad) day, it is nice to have somebody there to share it with. And somebody just to sit with in the evenings watching TV or going out some place. - Derek

Hello Bianca,
I married at the early of 30. So, I had enough time for being single *smiles* Honestly, I prefer my life now rather than being single. There are some things that I can't do any longer due to my status but I am willing to sacrifice those for a good marriage. For me, to live with my husband and kid is far better rather than being alone.

I agree that have more advantage to be a single but there is a loneliness behind that advantage. We are not deny that being a single will always thinks about partners in life...For me I don't want to be alone in life. Because I feel it is not good to be always single...It seems that there is lacking in my life that I don't know what part in my life...Even God said being a single is not good but if you retain to be a single and have not involved in any relationship or stay a virgin until your rest...Your very lucky but advices that if you can't resist to be a single it is better to find someone being your partner...Have a nice day!

Hi..I personally feel that it depends on an individual and the partner you get. If you get the right partner I am preety sure you will enjoy being in relationship but if your partner ios the type of person who can just cause mess in your life then being single is the best choice. I personally love being single as I do not need to report whatever I do to a "HEADQUARTERS".

Being single doesn't mean you're lonely and yes you can do most anything you want but there is a big difference between the two. If you are in a relationship there is much more you can do because there's someone at your side and willing to support whatever you do. And the feeling of being loved by that person is nothing compared. I also enjoyed being single before but I enjoyed more of being taken.

i think what makes being single different is the freedom to do as you wish. in a relationship, you always have to consider your patners feelings before you do some things but when you are single its diferent and i dont mean in the greedy kind of way

currently i am single and i am comfortable with it but wouldn't mind getting into a relationship if that ensures happiness for me ( at least for the better part).singularly whats important is finding meaning to one's life be it in your single status or in a relationship

hello Bianca_mergillano,
being single when you are still young is just fine. but when you are already getting old, i think it's better to have a relationship. this way, your life will become more colorful, more alive and has more meaning.
you need a companion too. you can't live to be a single forever for there is a saying that "no man is an island." indeed there are lots of adjustments when you go into a relationship but that is part of it. you need to sacrifice to be happy.
bottomline, you can never buy your happiness. so if there is a chance, go and enjoy. the feeling is so magical when you are in love.

I agree with you that there are disadvantages and advantages when you are single or into a relationship. I am into a relationship for 6 years now after a heart-breaking experience 9 years ago and I can really say that I am happy with the way my life changed since I met my girlfriend. I can say that there are things that a single person enjoys like having his freedom to to whatever he wants to do without consulting other people like his girlfriend and he can attend unplanned activities with friends instantly but the downside is, you do not have someone who can listen to you when you are down especially if you are not with your parents since they are busy with their job.

To be in a relationship. I always say that being in love is indeed one of the greatest feeling ever. Sure there are lots of disadvantages being in a relationship. A lot of trials as well as hardships. But all of those are worth it because of the love that you both are sharing with each other.

I think which is single or in relationship, is almost same but not really same..you know what I mean ? being single yes we are free to do anything and going with some friend everywhere..but sometimes you will feel alone, some people feel like this when they are single, but when you are in relationship you will feel happy if your relation can make you really happy and perfect, but how about if not ? maybe you will feel regret to being with him or else you want to got free from this..
My opinion is if you like to doing everything free and nobody control you maybe you right to be single, but if you ready to make relationship with someone means you are ready to not free to doing everything and of course your couple will watching you..
that's the different between single and in relationship.
your comment please..
