I was watching some videos/concerts of the sexy Pussycat Dolls and just noticed that its only Nicole who are singing most of the time, while the others are just like back up singers, second voices. I am not a huge fan but I like some of their songs. Like now Im listening to their new song 'Hush'. I like Nicole's high vocal tone too. However, dont you think its just better for her to go solo since she is just singing solo in The Pussycat Dolls. They are pretty and sexy and all that but they are just backup singers of Nicole. Comparing them to the early Spice Girls, all of them get to have a solo part in every song, so al of them can show off and you can see that the song is distributed to everyone, unlike the subject we have here. Any fans out there? What do you think?

They are burlesque. They are a bunch of women who are burlesque performers who made it big. Some of their songs are catchy, a lot of my males friends love them, but I think that they are just a one time thing. They are not as big as they were when they first came out. They do perform in Las Vegas.

Yes, they were a burlesque group in Las Vegas for the longest time. They still are.

Hi I'm a fan, I like Nicole as the lead singer but I also like the dance element the rest of the girls bring.
The group I think has taken inspiration from a burlesque dance troupe and I don't think tehy would be same without the back up vocals and dance routines.

The essence of a group is for every member to work together and each member should have a part to play. With the Pussycat Dolls it is only Nicole that does the singing and i think its not right if Nocole goes solo, what will happen to the others

I no it only nicole that sings. The other girls do sing sometimes. But the pussycat dolls are more of a dancing group. Most of the girls are strippers. But i still love all thier songs, like jai ho, and dont cha.

I have watch a bunch of there concert in videos and yes I can pretty much say that Nicole is really the one singing though there are others in the pussycat dolls that are singing but Nicole is really the main singer . An proud she's half Filipina, very talented. I was worried because there was a time when she got solo and I was thinking of what will happen to the group because Nicole is really there leader.

Hi red!
P.C.D.'s new album is really amazing. I love it so much! And yeah..Hush Hush is a great song. But you know after their first album and even after the success of their single "Dont Cha Think" you can already get the hint that it isn't like their singing the whole song as a group. We can obviously tell that Nicole is the one whose singing the whole song and it has been their set-up from th beggining.
I had their video from their concert in London and I saw that it is Nicole who sang almost all their songs. And the rest are like back-up singers. But they are really great dancers like Carmit and Jessica and actually all of them. Maybe main reason why she had a solo album. But whats great about Nicole is, she didn't leave the group. Though she had her own album (My Name is Nicole)..she still had her group Pussycat Dolls. So i'm so happy with it.

yup. they have great songs. really love to dance to it. great dancers too.
i just believe that each should still be given a chance to show off their singing prowess (not only dancing skills) =)
i think i was able to watc some of their concerts on video too, and they can really entertain you know. =)
