Where's the one Place(s)

I want to go to Ireland. I'd like to see the whole country, castles and the pretty green meadows you see on calendars and in those coffee table picture books I'd like to visit the cities from a local's point of view...the hole in the wall, Mom & Pop places that only the locals know about. That's how I like to see any new place; I hate being a tourist. Many years ago, my cousin spent several months traveling around Europe through his service in the Marines and when he came home he said Greece was the prettiest place on the whole trip. Ever since then I've wanted to visit Greece. I don't really know where specifically, but somewhere on the coast.

I have always dreamed of visiting Italy. I'm not sure why either but I've always thought that it wouldn't just be a visit but that I would live there for a few months, using it as a base to explore other areas of Europe. I've read about the Amalfi coast (primarily in novels) and because I love the water, I think that I would choose that as my base. I envision getting up early in the morning and going to market to buy food for the day and strolling along a piazza with a bad of groceries in my arms and the sea breeze blowing through my hair. I know that's crazy but that's exactly how concrete that dream has become. I virtually know what it is I will be doing when I'm there and even have developed a picture of what our apartment will look like! I've never been to either Colorado or London but I do hope that you get to both some day.

I would love to visit Cartagena de Indies in Colombia. I dream of one day visiting Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Most of all would love to visit Madagascar. I would like to visit the Philippines to go island hopping and snorkeling. I would enjoy visiting Japan to see the cherry blossom. I hope to visit China one day to see the Great Wall of China. I know that you will have a wonderful time in London when you visit it. Next year I am planning to visit Canada.

If I had the money I would definitely choose Italy. I've seen pictures and heard so many wonderful stories about how beautiful it is in Italy and I've always wanted to go. I think my next choice would be anywhere where the beaches have white sand and clear blue water. The beaches where I live aren't nice. They have brown sand and dark blue/green water.
