How ro send the email notifications about the discusson.our friends

While starting some discussions, it seems we are able to send the mails about the discussion to our fiends in mylot, so that they can respond to the concussion from the mail itself..How to send the email notifications and how to add the friends email address ? Also , in general, Where do we have the particular site?Is there any requirements (Minimum number of posts) or procedure make use of this? I searched well and not able to locate this function. Please let me know this.

Each one of us can go to 'preferences' at the top of the page and then to 'notifications' and turn our notifiers to 'on'. We can choose which ones we want on.
Also when you accept a friend on your friend list you can turn the notifiers to 'on' from there and you will receive a notifier every time they start a new discussion. If your friends do the same then they will receive yours.
and I missed a bit anyway.

Hi hmrk, it's nothing to do with email to get notifications in your mail box. All you need to do is go into your friends list from profile and turn the notifiers on next to each name and then you will automatically be informed when your friendshave started a discussion and they will be when you do so. Unless they have theirs off of course. You can then message between your friends if you like rather than posting something for everyone to see,

Thanks for the useful information..So far I searched only in the notifications page and could not find any thing regarding this..Now I got it..Thanks for the guidance ..Is there any option to send the PMs, to many members at the same time, without typing every thing again and again? If we make use of the above feature, then ours will get posted in the mylot also...If I want to send the same message to many of the friends, Now I am sending it individually by choosing their user name...If better opion is there , please let me know...Thanks for your informative response.

Of course.... I used to wait for at least a month to mark the best response..But it depends on the discussion matter. You may kindly refer to the discussion :http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2148869.aspxif your are free or when you have the time.This is the first time that I have marked the BR soon after reading the response..We may not be given the option of sending PMs to many members to prevent the spamming.Thanks for updating .
