there isn't a lot of talk about hiv and aids nowadays. I wonder why nobody wants to talk about it. There are so many people that have it that it shouldn't be hidden. It shouldn't be a taboo issue to talk about. It shouldn't make anyone feel awkward. So why does it. It always surprises me when I notice things like people don't talk about HIV/AIDS in their communities. I want to know why. Why is it so wrong to talk about something that's affecting so many people?

probably because, almost everyone got one. Just kidding. The reason I can think of is that it's no longer a big deal when you acquire the virus and those who got it just keep on living their lives and don't talk much about it in public. Or maybe people just no longer care. Cheers!

Hi,the main reason for getting that disease is illegal contacts with women irrespectively and which is against society customs. So everybody hesitate to express because the cause is such type that every women and men in the society see them as worst fellows, eventhough the cause for it may be because of blood. But it is different in case of severe heart attack or cancer...society show sympathy.
